I had sent this development image to the developers of Bridgeworks as what their development should aspire to be!- Cleveland: Downtown: Playhouse Square Development and News
Todays Landmark Planning Commission meeting had an interesting presentation from Playhouse Square with regards to The Allen Theatre's new marquee design. Somehow The National Park Service disapproved the original design that was presented to this commission and asked for the design to be changed and simplified. I still don't understand why they disapproved of the first design and had all flourishes removed. You can see Playhouse Square had to present multiple designs for final approval. I also wonder whom on the commission asked for the reasoning? Fascinating also to hear that The State Historical Society also approved the original plan. Only NPS disapproved because she says she had "vast knowledge of marquee designs from around the world "whatever that may mean lol- Cleveland: Rocket Arena (Gund Arena)
Daniel Arsham is a genius on his designs for The Cavs . The kinetic ball sculpture is amazing in person https://www.nba.com/cavaliers/news/releases-center-court-230516 Cleveland Cavaliers Unveil "Center Court" at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Downtown Cleveland Transformed State-of-the-Art Team Shop Designed in Collaboration with Snarkitecture, Design Practice of Cavs Creative Director, Daniel Arsham. It is quite amazing how deteriorated the mall became since it closed in 2021.- Cleveland: Retail News
I always felt that The Galleria and The Avenue at Tower City were the main reason Euclid Avenue's importance as retail declined. These indoor malls just had people drive and park and never to venture outside.- Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
If they leave the exterior plywood elevator shaft it will look even more like the paintbrush handle! lol- Cleveland: Downtown: Progressive Field

Unfortunately,The Planning Commission approved demolition on Friday. I did appreciate them asking why and whom allowed the bridge to go into such disrepair prior to approval.- Cleveland: Downtown: Justice Center Complex Replacement
While I really enjoy the vision of the iconic lost buildings of Cleveland, it makes me think that the Hilton Convention Hotel will be odd as the only tall building in the area.- Cleveland: Historic Photos
Such a fascinating picture. It took me a moment to figure out the orientation of the photograph. Love to see the "Hotel Cleveland" signage and the beginning build of The Terminal Tower.. It is amazing to see how much progress was made in 96 years- Cleveland: Downtown: Skyline 776 (City Club Apartments)
Nice progress is being made on the panel facade. I had to laugh at this view of the entrance canopy as it resembles a slice of burnt toast!- Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
I would love to see this sculpture titled "Awakening" brought back to the North Coast Harbor area. It was originally part of the Donald Grey Gardens. The gardens were destroyed when the new Cleveland Browns Stadium was built. It presently rests at The Cleveland Botanical Gardens. I also find it fascinating that all the items we wish for on the lakefront existed during The Great Lakes Exposition that we are trying to recreate. A bridge from The Burnham Malls to the lakefront, attractions besides the stadium, and a greened open space for all to enjoy. Paved paradise and they put up a parking lot. Maybe the planners should host another Great Lakes Exposition- Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News

I would love to see Field Operations take on completion/activation of Malls A-B-C. That last plan that did GGN should be incorporated into this design- Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
I am equally excited for both Bedrock's development and The Lakefront. I wait to see how these develop over the coming years. The one that excites me the most of getting completed is neither of these but instead Irishtown Bend Park.- Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
Does anyone know if they have developed any plan if the Browns Stadium was to be removed from the lakefront?- Cleveland: Downtown: Progressive Field
