Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
It would be great to remove all the pavement and at least turn it into a grass field for public use until The City decides what is to become of this land

Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
Great video regarding the retractable roof option https://www.usatoday.com/videos/sports/2012/09/21/1586079/ This proposal would have cost between $70 million to $90 million dollars. I also like the bridge from Mall C to whatever was proposed at the edge of Lake Erie.

Cleveland: Natural History Museum Renovation and Expansion

Cleveland: Downtown: John Hartness Brown Buildings / Euclid Grand
While I applaud the restoration of this complex, I am disappointed with the eastern most facade and base treatments. Why the lack of any ornamentation? When viewing the street level facades, without looking up, there is no reference to the different facades to break up the monotony.

I wonder if there is any plan for any architectural exterior lighting similar to what was done on The May Company Building

Cleveland: Random Visualizations & Massings
I was wondering if anyone has the ability to plop the SWH Tower massing into this iconic shot used all the time

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
This still feels close to what might SHW Headquarters would appear like if on the Jacob's Lot

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
I have two mindsets about the planned use of The Jacob's Lot. 1. If SHW is to use this site as a museum it could balance the northern half of Public Square as it could relate to The Metzenbaum Courthouse heightt and scale. 2. If they would flip the proposed HQ Tower to The Jacob's Lot it would maintain the idea of the Public Square location for the 4 tallest skyscrapers in Cleveland. This plan would move the museum closer in line with The Warehouse District height scale. It would also help to invigorate that tourism in that district and could help reinvigorate. the existing restaurants. Either way, I look forward to seeing what SHW will present. I also wish the architect's were not giving Cleveland a copy of a building from another city. A world headquarters building should be unique to Cleveland even if it is conservative in design Sometimes, I wish The Ameritrust Tower had been constructed. I also feel the Amazon HQ2 design is going to be very accurate to what is the ultimate deign minus the tallest tower

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
@KJP. Thank you for keeping us enlightened. I had a quick question. Your first photo has the proposed tower not on the Jacob's Lot. Was this on purpose in hopes that site brings something taller?

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
I wouldn't be opposed to 2 shorter towers for the SHW Headquarters. I remember how nice the scale of Public Square was when One Public Square and 33 Public Square still stood. The attache link has some great photographs of surrounding buildings of Public Square that were lost with Cleveland's progress. https://de.phorio.com/file/512414398/ I also browsed Pickard Chiton Architects website and noticed their 2021 Norfolk Southern Corporation'd build was similar in size 1,000,000 sq feet with parking for 2000 parking spaces. I would be happy to see something similar merging into the historic Warehouse District's scale https://www.pickardchilton.com/work/norfolk-southern-headquarters

Cleveland: Downtown: The Centennial (925 Euclid Redevelopment)
An interesting bit of information from this article that pertains to The Centemmial https://www.cleveland.com/entertainment/2020/12/750000-earmarked-for-crawford-auto-aviation-museum.html $750,000 earmarked for Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum WRHS officials said capital improvements regarding work that started in 2013 will continue to the Crawford’s lower gallery, collection storage and other areas. A broader initiative includes plans to feature artifacts from the Crawford in the Centennial Building at E. 9th Street and Euclid Avenue in downtown Cleveland. “We’re very excited,” Falcone-Hall said. “That’s a project that’s been in the works for a few years. The initial outreach from (owner) Millennia (Companies) was ‘Hey we’ve got this unbelievable asset’ - and the enormous square footage of the bank hall, just extraordinary space in the city of Cleveland – ‘We’d love to give you the opportunity to feature some of your automobiles and possibly your aircraft in the space.’ Anytime we have the opportunity to bring our collections to the public eye and give the public more accessibility, we’re happy.”

Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
Why not use Voinovich Park for The NFL Draft location? This still provides FES as a great background for the event. I want The City Council and The Haslams to show us their longterm concepts that forced Cumberland Development off the lakefront.

Cleveland: Downtown: Mall Development and News
I still wish GGN's proposed master plan was completely executed. The Malls still feel incomplete. Maybe with the proposed interior renovations of converting The Global Center for Health Innovations into an extension of the Huntington Convention Center they can raise enough money to complete the plan https://www.ggnltd.com/connecting-downtown-cleveland-master-plan

Cleveland: Downtown: John Hartness Brown Buildings / Euclid Grand
I wished the applied fiberglass panels on the furthest east facade were set forward of the windows. All the other buildings have the windows set back that gives the architecture a richer look. Overall I think the work is going well.

Cleveland Guardians Discussion
I was playing around with a concept of Cleveland's geographical strength and thought of the freighters that navigate Lake Erie and The Cuyahoga River. How about The Cleveland Freighters as another option. Think of The William G Mather, that is docked at North Coast Harbor, as the inspiration.

Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
It appears that the eastern side of The Lumen is adding white horizontal lines to the center area. I wonder why this is being done
