Cleveland: Ohio City: Bridgeworks Development
No matter what exterior changes they try with the comments they receive nothing will truly turn this into a great design aesthetic. Lipstick on a pig

Cleveland: Ohio City: Bridgeworks Development
Brandon is not understanding that the overall design is just lackluster. Subtle changes and material choices will not help this design. This is what happens when you have a value engineered design. They are just not capable of making an iconic build that this location deserves. I am probably in the minority but I'd rather see this project abandoned as is. There is no need to settle

I found the OHC design review from Sept 5. I find it interesting how the architect says the landmarks commission gave positive feedback

Cleveland: Downtown: Skyline 776 (City Club Apartments)
I just checked the webcam site and the exterior panelling remains unfinished. https://app.oxblue.com/cameras/60d486ce45de63c7a4a4a944622a8a5d?openlink=Clevelandco/City-Club-Apartments

Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
Can someone explain how the Haslam's control the naming rights to the city owned stadium? This feels like a deal that should be made with the actual owners of the facility. More fleecing and more reason not to publicly fund this billionaire's dreams.

Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
I really want to see images of what the current stadium could look like for comparison of what we could get instead. of Brook Park

Cleveland: Scranton Peninsula: Development and News
I like the direction that Scranton Peninsula is moving in. My only wish is that it can become a destination neighborhood ie: Little Italy. Make this a walkable neighborhood with a variety of restaurants and businesses that you would find on any Main Street that any resident would benefit from. I also would love Cleveland to consider complete streets for further development enhancements.

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
Does anyone know if the construction schedule for completion remains on time? The "shack" looks far from completion.

Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
Forgive me if this was already answered, My question is if Burke is decommissioned can a roof be added to the existing stadium with the height limit removed?

Cleveland SC Soccer Stadium
If the Browns move to Brook Park could the current stadium be converted to facilitate a rehab for soccer? How much does one think it would cost to make use for another kind of team to lease it?

Cleveland: Downtown: Skyline 776 (City Club Apartments)
Has anyone heard or know when the remaining finished panelling will be completed? It appears work has come to a halt and I remember someone stating the panels that were installed were done incorrectly

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
It also appears they are beginning to lay out the grid pattern for "The Shack's" roof details

Cleveland: Downtown: Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Expansion
It is amazing to see how large this expansion will be!

Cleveland: Detroit-Superior Bridge: Bike-Ped-Public Realm
After watching the amazing lighting that was done on The Eiffel Tower for the 2024 Paris Olympics I was wondering if the same effects could be applied to the Detroit-Superior Veterans Memorial Bridge. The projection mapping and programmable sharpie lights would bring a draw to our city and bring people down to the flats and help to activate the lower deck as an observation deck for residents and visitors. Combine this with music curated to Rock and Roll inductee musicians or from our beloved Cleveland Orchestra. Heck Fourth of July have the orchestra perform from the lower level of the bridge like Celine Dion sang from The Eiffel Tower. Truly take our iconic bridge and bring it to life. Imagine the light show and music as one sits along The Flats and the future Irishtown Bend Park. As I always wish let's dream big and make no small plans for activating and admiring the beauty we have at our fingertips. Anyone whom can remember how electric 1996 was with the masterful lighting of all the bridges for Clevelands Bicentennial. Let's do something iconic once again.

Cleveland: Public Square Redesign
Here is what I hope transferring management brings to Public Square. 1. Better maintenance/upkeep. The planting beds can look bare and also overgrown. So many trees that have died have been cut down and not replaced. Any tree that is removed shouldn't be replaced by an additional hardscape. This is mainly happening in the southern portion of Public Square 2.More public restroom facilities. I would love to see the addition of something that families could rent towels and the facility could also provide changing stations for families and workers to change into or out of swimming clothes to enjoy the splash pad 3. A permanent awning over the oval stage. It would be nice to have a permanent overhang instead of the tents that cover the stage. Build something that can hold a sound system and lighting for events on an annual basis. 4. Security. provide a security ambassador kiosk or facility that helps to watch over and maintain order within the park 5. New public art rotated throughout. 6. Close Superior for food trucks once a week since the raptor system should make it easier to do on a weekly basis. 7. Farmer's Market on The Square once a week. Again along Superior. 8. Stop Rebol staff from long term parking on/in The Square. 9. Winterfest. Would love to see Public Square closed during the December month as Christkindlmarket/ Holiday Market similar to Chicago's. Let's theme the skate rental better than bringing shipping containers onto Public Square. 10. The more activities that are brought to the park the better it will be

Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
I prefer the lakefront site for the following reasons. 1. The momentum to develop the surroundings of the lakefront stadium are stronger with the city putting in all the upgrades. The stadium redevelopment lends a continued reason to build all the plans that have been put into development. 2. If the city remains owners of the stadium why can it not be designed to also be home to a soccer team to activate the stadium for more events? Heck can't it also be transformed into other field sporting events including tennis? Make it open to local high school and university teams as well. 3. The Haslam's can still invest outside of the stadium if they negotiate. I personally do not see the need for an enclosed stadium that die hard Browns' fans would insist to continue supporting them. Any reasonable choice that The Haslam's have spun for Brook Park outside of the actual stadium already exists downtown. They want to make one believe all traffic/parking/stadium faults will disappear once moved. The argument should be made on how well that Colisuem worked in Springfield for everyone. All new developments over promise and underdeliver .

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
I wish the first section of the side of the parking structure were finished with the glass facade. It would help disguise the parking structure and give a little more weight to the facade.

Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
The main issue is that the walkable hub that the Brown's stadium is nothing more than a location for isolated events and will never be a neighborhood with unique shops and amenities that a European city model provides. This will be more Crocker Park than anything. This is a glorified development that supports only the stadium's needs and benefits. I don't see people flocking to Brook Park if nothing is planned to happen inside the stadium that given day. I personally do not see myself wanting to eat or do anything outside of an indoor facility with the noise of air traffic coming from Hopkins

Cleveland: Hotel Development
I wish the exterior was architecturally enhanced with lighting during the evening hours. The other feature that I wish was saved was the fountain which had adorned the lobby

Cleveland: Streetscape Improvements
I have noticed that the street lamps in front of The City Club Apartments on Euclid Avenue are now a different design than the rest of the street. Anyone know why they changed them to a different look?

Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
I would love to see if The Haslam Group has any renderings of a proposed renovation if the lakefront stadium was the fallback option
-
Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
Why did The Haslam's spend over a million dollars to hype us about a renovated stadium on the lakefront when they presented their concept with a video of a land bridge and developed lakefront? Why did this plan fail?
-
Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
I agree that the land bridge has turned out to be a pedestrian path. I also wonder why there are no plans showing the option without The Browns Stadium on the lakefront. Shouldn't this have been developed as a possible alternative for us to see how a plan might change.?
