Cleveland: Streetscape Improvements
The curb was added on the cobblestone "promenade" paths because Mayor Jackson found those two crossings to be dangerous. They consolidated the crosswalk to the center of Public Square and by adding the curb it deters pedestrians from using those paths

Cleveland: Streetscape Improvements
I thought the stones were originally set with a sand mixture. I added this link to show photos back from May 2016 that say a sand mixture was used to set the stones. I also note how many trees have been lost on the southern half of Public Square. I don't understand why they were not replaced. https://www.cleveland.com/architecture/2016/05/first_look_nearly_finished_pub.html

I wish and wonder if it is still necessary to paint the crosswalks and road lanes through Public Square. It is nice to see it clear of markings

Cleveland: Ohio City: Bridgeworks Development
The other point about this project is that every design they have presented is so different than the previous iteration that it makes it difficult to for an approval. I don't think the developer knows what he wants anymore. Which iteration does everyone most like? I am most fond of the very first design concept that was first developed for this site. This last design tries to emulate some of those aspects but missteps on proportions and scale.

Cleveland: Ohio City: Bridgeworks Development
Please hire a new architect for this project. This new iteration just proves that they don't know what to do with the massing. The old ticket booth now looks like an afterthought

Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
There are so may variables still at play for the city to be approving any new budgets to develop the lakefront plan. Until the decisions are finalized on Burke, Browns Stadium plans, and ODOT highway boulevard conversion we should put development plans on hold. Field Operations is making too much money for plans that will continue to be scrapped or adjusted.

That is one large blank wall facing Euclid Ave.

Cleveland: Public Square Redesign
It definitely is an improvement over the jersey barriers. I like the look before all the street striping will occur. Another question is why are there 2 traffic signals per direction when only 2 lanes remain through the central crossing?

Cleveland: Public Square Redesign
I just read that the due to technical difficulties the splash pad couldn't be turned on today, June 22nd.

Cleveland: Public Square Redesign
I've noticed that they have removed the stage platform from the lawn. I wonder why this was. The splash fountain is also to be turned on June 22! Lastly the fences have been removed and one can traverse thru the center of the square again. My wish is that the trees that have died and were replaced. with more paving stones could be replaced with more trees. The southern section of the park is lacking in shade.

Cleveland: Public Square Redesign
I heard word from Cleveland Inc. that the lamp posts that have been removed from Public Square are being reworks for the This is Cleveland lighting projections project that should be installed for use hopefully by the end of August

Does anyone know if or when this project is supposed to go before Landmarks Commission for final approval or does it not need to go before them again?

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
I was afraid how the northern view of the new headquarters would look. It will always look like unfinished exposed framing of the angled top.

I don't believe the proximity to Hopkins would be an issue for holding a Super Bowl. SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles is also in a direct flight path to the nearby LAX Airport

The new SHW Headquarter is a nice addition to the skyline. Much like the company, the design is very conservative and on trend. The design borrows details from the former EY Tower in the Flats and The Hilton. This takes away any uniqueness the building could have brought to the skyline. I am grateful for the addition to our collection of skyscrapers. Hopefully more innovation and risks are taken in the future.

Cleveland: Downtown: Convention Center Atrium & Expansion
Thanks @Oldmanladyluck for the photo. Does anyone know what the final finish is going to be for this addition? I am confused on the beige panelling that is being installed. While I am happy that the facility is becoming a part of the convention center, this addition doesn't blend in very well with the original architecture. Also, I hope the mechanical system at the northwest corner has plans to be hidden . It also seems like it could interfere with noise and be visible when an event is held on the outdoor terrace.

Cleveland: Public Square Redesign
Are any of these bollards removable? I ask this question since during the winter months they bring in large shipping containers for the ice rink rentals and zamboni storage. If these aren't removable how will they get around this issue? Does this round of bollard installations continue around the outskirts of The Square or is only Superior being addressed? Lots of vehicles still park behind Rebol on a daily basis.

Cleveland: Downtown: Skyline 776 (City Club Apartments)
Does anyone know how far along are they with adding the finished panels to the backside of the tower?

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
As someone whom lives outside of Ohio, thank you all that continue to photograph this build!

Cleveland: Flats East Bank
The "Oswald" signage feels overscaled for the building. Also, is it really necessary for 3 signs? Even SHW only has 2

Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
Their wouldn't need to be any change in parking. The muni lots would remain as is for either location near the existing or new stadium on Burke land.

Cleveland: Public Square Redesign
When viewing the Public Square webcam, does anyone know why they removed all the pole lighting? They are currently surrounded by orange plastic fencing.

Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
One option that really could be the best for all is if Burke Lakefront Airport was decommissioned and that land was either converted to the publicly accessible lakefront that Mayor Bibb envisions or move the Browns Stadium to this location and The Haslams could build their vision. The two sites could be swapped for either plan. Personally I preferred The Haslam lakefront plan over the vision that Bibb has proposed. A better use of prime real estate rather than more park settings that would bring more tax revenue to a cash strapped city.

Shouldn't this be considered a conflict of interest since Nora Romanoff, whom had worked at LAND-Studio now works for Bedrock? Surely there are other public art organizations other than LAND-Studio

I believe the LED vertical light strips will only be around the outer skin
