Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
Did they give a reason a dome is not possible at the lakefront site?

https://www.cleveland.com/letters/2024/03/why-not-build-new-browns-stadium-on-still-vacant-land-once-offered-art-modell.html By Other Voices In regards to Browns Stadium (“Build a domed Browns Stadium — and build it away from the lake,” March 17), no one has brought up the original idea Cleveland and Cuyahoga County officials proposed to Art Modell in the late ‘80s. When the Gateway project was first conceived, they included Modell to be in on the project. He said they didn’t - that’s a story for another day. Skip Ad Officials offered Modell the plot of land diagonally southwest from Progressive Field just on the other side of the Innerbelt at the Ontario Street exit. He refused and the rest is history, but the land is still there, vacant and undeveloped, and still owned by Cleveland. Currently, part of it is used for Progressive Field employees and vendor parking on game days. It seems to me this would be the perfect location to showcase a beautiful new stadium. Imagine both stadiums illuminated at night and people driving through the Innerbelt right in between the two! This keeps the Browns in downtown Cleveland where they belong and develops a completely empty and void section of the city. I would hope this option is being discussed between the Haslams and city and county officials. Joseph Dylyn, North Olmsted

Why shouldn't The Haslam's show us plans for each option and let the citizens weigh in on which they prefer.

Cleveland: Public Square Redesign
I would love to know how much money was spent for this ceremonial removal of 3 jersey barrier sections! I wish someone had the common sense over these past 8 years to see if all of these securities were ever really necessary and the original design was sufficient. The butterfly promenade crosswalk paths should have been reinstated and the central crosswalk markings removed. since RTA buses were the only transpiration allowed the drivers could have been taught to know where to stop.

Cleveland: Public Square Redesign
I laughed at the car parked behind Rebol during the entire ceremony! I also wished someone asked why so many trees have died around the splash fountain and instead of them being replaced they just add more pavers. Here is a reminder of the plan.

Cleveland: Streetscape Improvements
Glad to see the jersey barriers gone but I also am not a fan of bollards. Public Square was never given a chance to operate as it was originally designed and they should have seen if it could have worked rather than implementing the fear based jersey barriers. The best solution would have been to have closed Superior all together and unite the square. From the press conference Mayor Bibb mentioned this may be on the table again

I believe the decision to change the seat color was partially due to the lifespan of the green seats. They are showing their wear and tear. When they had the opportunity for replacement they thought why not make the change to the match the team colors. As for the green seats, many were moved to the upper right to add back the seats that the shipping containers occupied.- Cleveland: Downtown: Progressive Field
- Cleveland: Downtown: Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Expansion
I came across some new interior renderings for the expansion's interior and also included what the harbor side will loo like when completed. I really enjoy the juxtaposition of the 2 styles coming together.- Cleveland: Downtown: Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Expansion
The great part of this expansion will be that it will activate the harbor side of The RRHF. IM Pei's design never was designed to have activation on that side. The focus was on it's front plaza. I look forward to the finished product. Hopefully this expansion furthers the harbor's activation.- Cleveland: Ohio City: Bridgeworks Development
I do not expect the latest design to improve much from Geis. Their track record of design is mediocre. I wish we could just go back to the original design that LDA had proposed back in 2020.- Cleveland: Downtown: Progressive Field
I was playing around and wondered what the outfield upper canopy were to be removed would look like. I would just add another LED ribbon along the old line of where the canopy started and would add to more awnings over the restroom facilities to strengthen the overall look- Cleveland: Downtown: Progressive Field
- Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
These photos are great! My one wish was that the inset sections of glass were a slightly darker tint so at night the tower still had its monolithic nature broken up . That feature gets lost in the evening views without its proposed lighting turned on. Hopefully the night lighting helps to define this feature. I used jonesdronescle provided by @CleveFan to show the completed tower with the proposed lighting crown and vertical feature- Cleveland: Ohio City: Bridgeworks Development
I remember some talk at some commission meeting opposing any demolition until the developer could show the historic reuse of some of the existing building reuse into the new design that wasn't shown in Geis' value-engineered design- Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters

I assume The Haslams have 2 different stadium designs that they are floating around. It would be nice to see these concepts so the public could weigh in on which they prefer. Renovation to existing site or new site somewhere else.- Cleveland: Hotel Development
