Could Cincinnati/Dayton be in line for an NBA team?
I would take out about 8 NHL teams. Make it a 2:1 ratio of US to Canadian teams with the NHL returning to Quebec and Winnipeg (so you would have Quebec, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmundton, and Vancouver) Why 2:1? That was the ratio of the original 6 (Toronto & Montreal to Chicago, Detroit, NYR, Boston) +1 (NY Americans)

Cleveland Cavs Discussion
I'd give the slogan a 6 (out of 10), but I wish James took a number other than Michael Jordan's.

General Roads & Highway Discussion (History, etc)
We do have Hayden Run > Bethel Rd. City of Columbus has been trying to add Morse to that collection since the 1960s.

Metro Cleveland: Road & Highway News
South of Painesville, the five point of Prouty, Morley, and Pinehill Rd, go SE > Spear Rd > Concord-Hambden Rd > Old State Rd (in Geauga County) > Painesville Warren State Rd (in Trumbull County) > Oh 305 > State Rd. Ends at Oh 45 on the northside of Warren. And in North Central Ohio I did a photo tour of The Old State Road (Flint Rd in Franklin Co, Old State Rd in Delaware Co, Worthington New Haven Rd/US 42/Oh 61 in Morrow Co, Oh 61/Oh 598 in Crawford Co, Oh 598 in Richland & Huron Cos (ending in New Haven @ US 224) http://www.roadfan.com/oldstrd.html

Cincinnati Bengals Discussion
With the Bengals signing two more LSU players today, government officials down here in Louisiana are looking to make a claim on Cincinnati and rename it North Baton Rouge. :-D Seriously, the athletic talking heads down here are somewhere between joyous and mystified that Cincy has picked (via Undrafted Free Agents & the draft) 4 LSU players, from this year's collection. Though that still doesn't match the 7 & 8 OSU players Chicago and Minnesota carried in the mid 90s.

Train Art
I can not and will not take credit for the artwork. Someone posted it @ Adobe Studio to be used as a photoshop template. I just changed the text to Urban Ohio (and the perspective on the text I think is still off) So go ahead, and steal this album, err, drawing. :-)

I know my following post is not what this thread about (sorry), but the Blues heritage trail in Mississippi was my intended topic when I left Ohio for Louisiana State.

Circleville / Pickaway County: Developments and News
Magyar replied to Summit Street's post in a topic in Central & Southeast Ohio Projects & ConstructionYou mean this one? Surely you don't mean this one.... The Delaware Gazette did a story on the history of the "Octagon" (originally a Linco-Marathon Station, that closed up back in 1970) back in 2002. It sits cati-corner from the old Delaware Train Station at US 42-Oh 37 (Lake & Central)

Cleveland Guardians Discussion
ESPN should stop broadcasting Indians games where Westbrook starts, thus I won't be inclined to watch. If the April 19th game was a train wreck, the 7th inning last night was someone dropping a bomb on the pitchers mound. When Nevin got over on Peralta, I thought I was back in the 1980s.

Cincinnati Bengals Discussion
Because I'm too lazy to look up the Cleveland Browns Thread (buried somewhere) I just want to tell Bengals fans that the Browns had the better draft of the two teams yesterday. :-P

The UrbanOhio Cincinnati Meet - SATURDAY!!!
I'll take your word on it (I have never watched the Waterboy, but I can still remember Sandler's Cajun Man skits on SNL). I've met plenty of nice and well intentioned people here. Organized versus unorganized does not equate to smart versus dumb for me. Just that as a rule of thumb people in Louisiana don't seem to plan ahead. Folks here have taken "Living in the moment" to some extremes.

Hello--new and looking for relo advice (Columbus)
Back to your original comment (back on page 1 of this thread), anything east of a line from Dublin to Delaware will give you a commute time longer than 20 minutes.
