Backyard cooks savor taste of maple syrup
^ So what label should I (actually the collective you, since I'm in Louisiana) look for at the local grocer. No one was questioning the existance, just where does one purchase Ohio maple syrup.

What was this a photo of?
I guess the neck of the guitar made it too obvious. Though, no it wasn't in a guitar shop, but in a museum. That was one of Buddy Guy's guitars. And it is displayed as part of the Louisiana Musical Heritage portion of the State museum here in Baton Rouge. (Buddy Guy was born NW of Baton Rouge and performed at some of the black clubs before he took the train north to Chicago in 1961)

Greater Columbus COTA News & Discussion
Here's fun project for someone to do. The demise of COTA. Do a full history from its creation out of the ashes of the Columbus Transit Company, through the Buck Reinhert admin and it's slow demise starting in the Lushuka years through to its current place as a shell of its former self. Would make an interesting newspaper article, or a fun term paper (IMO).

NCAA Men's Basketball: General News & Discussion
Yeah, I didn't care for Nantz & Packer's antics in that interview either. I'm not sure what Packer is trying to push with his "previous tourney results forcast future seeding predictions" rant he was pushing during the OSU-Iowa game and the selection show. Sounded to much like a punish the mid-majors/little players mantra. Not cool. :whip:

Columbus: General Transit Thread
Mike Harden, along with Joe Blundo, have also taken pot shots at Columbus's parking lot mentality as well over the years.

Show a pic of yourself!
No you have some company on the board. Columbus Girl, New Orleans Lady, UmmpaLumpa, xumelanie, and Sarah-Beth have all shown up to pop our collective bubbles.

NCAA Men's Basketball: General News & Discussion
I guess we scratch the Bearcats off the list and put Xavier in their place (though, I'd be surprised if X is given a single digit seeding this year)

Where do you live? (by county)
We don't have counties here in Louisiana. Otherwise, my car insurance & registration, student loans, and 401K reports go through Morrow County.

Songs about States, Cities, Places, etc.
^That song reads like a parody of "The House of the Rising Sun" (most notably done by Eric Burden & the Animals)
