So are any of you Geographers attending AAG (Chicago)?
With it being within earshot of Madison, I would recomend attending just to see what it's all about. I attended my first AAG back in 2000 (I was a junior at OSU) when it was held in Pittsburgh. The most notable thing I came away with was that I could do what these other academics were doing (speaking on geographic topics [to keep it vague]). Plus, just the things you can learn from listening to other people speak. Outside of panel discussions, I seldom heard anyone questioning other people's presentations at any of the sessions I attended.

Ohio Historical Center to dismantle trademark exhibit
Would there be any chance of the Railway Museum moving down to the 17th Ave/Vilma Ave/I-71 area, or would that cause more problems than it would solve?

Cincinnati: 2015 MLB All-Star Game
Anaheim hosted the year after Cincy. Dodger Stadium hasn't hosted since 1980 just...because.

Modern Roundabouts in Ohio
On the westside of New Orleans (actually Jefferson Parish at that point) there is a roundabout sandwiched between Airline Hwy (bottom), Causeway Blvd (top), and a RR bridge. And Roosevelt Blvd, in NE Philly, used to tunnel under several roundabouts (actually, the inner lanes of Roosevelt went under, while the outer lanes were part of the roundabouts).

Ohio Historical Center to dismantle trademark exhibit
Of course attendance has dropped 58% As Noozer said, the general assembly is at this point organ harvesting the Historical Center. Bitch about the design, can the arguement about parking (it's next to the state fairgrounds and Crew Stadium, guess where excess parking from events at those locations go), and find some other state program to kill. A damn shame.

For those who like (old) bridges
Sandor! You're here. I didn't recognize your username! I haven't visited the Culver Ck bridge yet but now I know exactly where it is! Probably go this week. I shouldn't wait too long knowing Delaware County's love of the historic! Exactly.  As compared to Morrow County which can't afford to upgrade many of their 80 year old bridges (untill they colapse underneith a heavy load)

How many Photographs did I combine here...
I guess I over-estimated the interest in this idea. The correct answer is only 1. This is the original photo: I was interested in photographing the mannequins with the guitars replacing the heads. By photographing this outside, I got too much reflection from the windows (duh), and thought I could correct this on Photoshop. Ummm, not really. So playing with the filters on photoshop, I just used the Embossed feature, and walla! A bad photograph turned into abstract art. Now if I could only make every mistake I ever made into something that good. :-D

And here I was yesterday getting ready to e-mail you a link to the site and you're working on it. BTW, have you checked out the condition of that Porter Twp bridge you e-mailed me about? Magyar/Sandor

Which Ohio City Could Host A Superbowl?
What, Paul Brown & "New" Browns Stadium aren't new enough? They're more recent than Atlanta's dome, Joe Robbie (or whatever it's called now), and the Superdome (though, the next SB there will be for other reasons ;-)). The only thing preventing the Super Bowl from being in Ohio is climate. As much as everyone remembers the Ice Bowls (1 [GB, 1967], 2 [Cleve, 1981], 3 [Cincy, 1982]) or the various "snow bowls" over the years, The NFL wants the weather taken out of the equation in determining the winner on the field. Also consider this: I don't think it has ever preciped (rain, snow, ice) during a Super Bowl (when played outside). If NYC won't get a Super Bowl (without a dome), I don't see a bunch of other northern cities getting a Super Bowl either.

Student Urban Design Competition
Sigh. Send them down here to save New Orleans instead. :-( On the flipside, one of the Baton Rouge TV stations on Monday mentioned that a group of middle schoolers was going to the (Primary school version?) of the Student Urban Design competition. Of course their city design was New Orleans (if this was pre-katrina, they would of chose somewhere else).
