Columbus hosting the Olympics? Is it possible?
C-bus lacks a velodrome (for biking). Thats a dealbreaker right there. 8-) Actually, just say Columbus is hosting the olympics, but hold most of the events in Indy (they held the Pan-Am games twice in the 80s/90s)

We'll lynch our owners, GM, coaches, and players before welcoming an opposing team.

(Looking at Southern Ohio on that last map) I guess the old marines in Mrs. Schmidt's district cut and run from church.

Cincinnati Bengals Discussion
Do the Bearcats play the Jayhawks or Mizzou this year? If so, we can use that as a base for comparison.

Moving to Columbus
You can easily find something in your price range in Clintonville. Downtown & Short North could be pricey (or if you can find something you can afford, be as big as a matchbox). And in Clintonville you'll always be in walking distance from the last bus route COTA would ever wipeout, the N. High line.

Moving to Columbus
Clintonville! (North of OSU, south of 270) Though I don't know of any web based housing/apartment sites.

Cleveland's Roldo
Well, offering solutions after you complain is nice. But non-implimention is as bad as not suggesting all together as well. IMO.

Columbus City Schools
Magyar replied to CMH_Downtown's post in a topic in Central & Southeast Ohio Projects & ConstructionThe Columbus Public schools "boundary" does not match the boundaries for Columbus city. Thus much of the population of Columbus have kids going to suburban schools.

Columbus: Downtown Wallscapes
Um, actually there isn't. The only federally funded route on Manhatten would 9A & I-95. Neither within eyeshot of Times Square. Now if I-495 or I-78 would of been built across Lower Manhattan.....

Delaware County: Developments and News
Magyar replied to buildingcincinnati's post in a topic in Central & Southeast Ohio Projects & ConstructionI think all of you are ignoring the Elephant in the township on this one. This is just another step for them to keep Columbus from encroaching anymore to the north. Call it unfounded, paranoid, or people looking for power, but the township was drug kicking and screaming into the Polaris agreement 15 years ago, and many don't want to give up anymore land to the "big, bad city to the south." How long till we have a thread here entitled: Lewis Center = Pataskula?

Columbus: Scioto Mile Riverfront Park News
I have no problem with the design. Something different like that proposed design would attract visitors. And help to breakdown Columbus's stuffy image (with COSI & the Wexner center)

OSU: New Ohio Union and parking garage
Huh? What have you tried to park in there? A limo?! Never had a problem manouvering in there. It's no worse than any other parking garage I've used in Columbus (or Baton Rouge) over the years

Show a pic of yourself!
I wouldn't say 'usually'. I would say 'sometimes.' Urban planning is the amoeba of graduate programs. It seems to fit in with many different types of colleges. I had never heard of an urban planning department within an engineering college. That is scary. I don't want any engineers controling planning. Uh...usually. Not sometimes. They are usually in the architectural grad school, design-wise. Ohio State's City & Regional Planning department is under the architecture school, which in turn is under the Engineering School. Thus, CRP at OSU is under Engineering. That does not mean that engineers have any sort of say; it's just "where it is." Dude, Engineers and Planners are on opposing sides of things. New Urbanism = Planners Build it with no cares to the environment around them = Engineers Next you'll be telling us that fine arts (because there is a fine arts component to architecture) is in engineering.

Depends what you want to write your thesis on and the teacher profiles. Don't jump into the OSU boat so soon.
