  1. Frankly, I think the riverfront stadium (vs. Broadway commons) was the correct choice. I could not see any decent access, nor parking for the Broadway commons location and to top it off, the ballpark was facing the wrong way, if one is looking for urban appeal (lets take another look at the passing traffic on I-71). As to rehabing Over-the-Rhine, I'll leave that for those familiar with the area. Sandor
  2. From the "I did not know that" file... Federal gov't came in and proclaimed(?) that no new construction could occur in Franklintown as of 1983, due to the potential flooding hazard. That doctrine was lifted with the dedication of the Flood wall today (This was mentioned on the local evening news, Monday) Sandor

I'm going to need something stronger than a modum/dial-up to view all 41 in one sitting. :( I took awhile just for the first 12 to show up before my laptop hit it and quit. Maybe I'm of the minority, but if you (and others) keep it to a max. of 10 photos per page, I'd be much abliged. Sandor
  4. Granted we're bordering on schmatics now, but the "people mover" (formerly known as the unirail) counts as fixed or rail transit. Mind you, I've been brainwashed by the talking heads in our capital after all these years.... :drunk:
  5. Cincinnati is the largest city without a light rail system? What does that make us up here in Columbus? :???: Or do we have a rail system that I've never known about in my 20+ years up here? (Mind you, Columbus politicians always say 'We're the largest city without....')
