Cleveland Browns Discussion
Other than for the brief "Vinny era" offensive line has been a problem for the Browns for over 20 years now. :-(

GOOGLE: All Day, All Night, All Nice
I'll wait for it to overtake GeoMedia (LSU's "official" choice for GIS) before worrying about ESRI's line of products.

Philadelphia, PA: Center City - Pt. 2 (January 2007)
Yeah the Philly Paradox makes any of our complaining about Ohio cities look like a Sunday Sermon.

Philadelphia, PA: Manayunk (January 2007)
What would make you think that a subway to Manayunk would have more service than the R-6 (or any other method)? Personally, I think history conspire more against expanding subways in Philadelphia (in general) than anything else.

I thought Troy Smith was going to be the Browns savior?

Philadelphia, PA: Manayunk (January 2007)
What would a subway do that more service on the R couldn't?

Xavier University Musketeers Athletics Discussion
Temple, St. Joesph, UMass, George Washington, Xavier... All pityful teams with no history, no legacy, and no basketball teams. Come on now. Just because UC is in the Big East now, doesn't make it the best conference in the NCAA. If Cincy (and Louisville) were still in Conference USA, you be arguing that it was a better conference than the A-10. You go ahead and call me when you want to continue this conversation without your Bearcat blinders on.

Delaware County: Developments and News
Magyar replied to buildingcincinnati's post in a topic in Central & Southeast Ohio Projects & Construction^ About time Kilbourne got in the news. :-D :| BTW, the reporter doesn't know her Geography. Richard Fleming's property is WEST of Kilbourne, not SOUTH (actually SW). And I'd say it's 2 miles from Kilbourne proper. (and another farm bites the dust.)

Xavier University Musketeers Athletics Discussion
I could go on...but it REALLY hurts XU being in the A-10. If Xavier were in a bigger conference or even a more competitive conference then things could be different. You mean like the Mid-Continent Conference (or whatever conference they were in during the Pete Gillam era)? BTW, those A-10 schools are so bad. Must be why they've had as many B-ball 1 seeds as the Big East. P.S. We've been waiting for the XU fad to wear off since Byran Larkin was enrolled there.

General Roads & Highway Discussion (History, etc)
The biggest obsticle tothe Morse-Bethel connector is the homes next to it. The connector would go next to the old Beechwold community, which was, a hundred years, the one of the swankiest subdivisions in Metro Columbus. Those citizens didn't want all those "commoners" cars going by their homes so they petitioned to get the Morse-Bethel Connector (and Oh 315 project) on a referendum ballot in 1968 and won. That referendum delayed the completion of Oh 315 by 5-10 years and is why Columbus has to go through so much legal manovering to get anything proposed there.

Google restores New Orleans
The Dispatch is showing an AP story about Google Maps restoring pre-katrina satilite images of New Orleans to their map program (instead of the post-katrina devestation they had been showing). Also of note, the last quote in the story is from one of my Thesis committee members here at LSU. http://www.dispatch.com/dispatch/content/national_world/stories/2007/03/29/google_no.html
