  1. In Ohio, is there a set expiration for your voter registration if for inactivity? We all know that passports are 10 years and Ohio DL are 4-6 years... If there is not a set period for the expiration of voter registration how is it decided when purges happen and who gets purged?

  9. Technically, Grand juries do not clear anyone of charges ---- they may decide not to charge an individual based upon the evidence, thus no indictment would come from the grand jury.
  10. Making up a early 2nd half non-call made up with numerous flags during crunch time of a game w. very few flags? Inexplicable There was also an obvious non-call Jalen Ramsey hold of Tee Higgins in the 1Q that down graded to a Bengals FG taking 4 points off the board.
  11. That's the conventional wisdom running around out there today ---- but they threw basically no flags during the game and all of the sudden 4 flags on the Bengals on the Rams' last drive?
  12. The officiating at the end of the game was vexing....did Vega$ call it in? ----No false start on the entire Rams O-line? However, this happened: https://www.wlwt.com/article/no-fan-left-behind-man-makes-800-t-shirts-of-fans-who-have-died-for-people-to-wear-to-super-bowl/39063572# (Did not notice --- did #nofanleftbehind get mentioned during the broadcast at any point?)

  18. Fault the contractor, they opened the roundabout prior to installing proper signage and striping (or even cones). The striping plays an key role on the approaches, as it directs the traffic to the right of the splitter island. A few cones also would have helped direct traffic to the proper side of the splitters. Once one car goes, its follow-the-leader. This is not the example to use to damn the use of any roundabout.

  21. Tax question ---- is there a way to "see" a list of forms that have been filed at the IRS under your TIN for this Tax Year? (1099-B, 1099 DIVs, etc) I want to make sure I have them all in-hand for my return and have a general lack of trust the the USPS delivered them all to me properly. I can't seem to find a way to Google this without bringing up oodles of links about how and where to find the IRS forms that a taxpayer needs to fill out (all 5 million of them...)

Sounds like its an old road that was not engineered, typically they followed great lines (section/Township lines) and jig-jogged wherever. There is no implied duty for the agency to sign every sharp curve on low-volume roads. UNLESS, the agency is aware of a safety issue** at that location and has not acted on it yet if they are able. **1 or 2 crashes does not imply a safety issue. The crash rate is compared against roads of similar volumes and classifications and settings and if its higher than the peer locations then there may be an issue. Then the location has to be ranked and compete against other safety issues for funding. Others may point out, proving negligence of a public agency is a high bar. (I am not a Lawyer)
  23. ODOT is now investigating if it makes sense to do away with the Lockland Split altogether by removing the separate NB lanes and viaduct and putting the NB lanes adjacent the SB lanes in the trench. This is due partly to the expense of replacing and widening the bridge, dealing with multiple railroads and the clearance of the old Stearns and Fosters site has freed up a lot of land.
