Reminds me of "Derek Zoolander Center for Kids Who Can't Read Good and Who Wanna Learn to Do Other Stuff Good Too"

If it is accurate it is showing just 72 out of the 316 left so that is 244/316 or 77% leased.

Also you would think having the VP be from Ohio would make a difference but that would mean that Vance actually cared about Ohio.

The Official *I Love Cleveland* Thread
Saw them in the Falls yesterday. My girls were captivated by it. Really cool and who knows when something like this will ever happen again.

Forgive me if this has been talked before but if the county does not give any money towards the project, then it is also not responsible for any of the repairs correct?

Cleveland: I-X Center
The auto show was indeed going downtown when the IX center was going to be closed in 2020. Cleveland is a big enough market overall that these kind of shows will still go on. Many of these major shows occur in some variation in basically ever major city so it is not like things like the auto show will leave Cleveland for another city. https://www.crainscleveland.com/real-estate/cleveland-auto-show-moves-downtown-plans-2021-event-december

Don't love the use but I love the idea of more traffic and people being pushed downtown. If Cleveland does indeed get a WNBA team perhaps the two combined will offset the loss of the Browns in terms of downtown impact.

Cleveland: Cleveland-Cliffs
With what Nippon is paying, I don’t get how Cleveland Cliffs price isn’t higher. Not completely the same kind of company but still a decent amount of overlap.

Love how the traffic study will be completed in the summer when the budget is to be approved in June. Could they not have workedon t But don't worry the traffic study may or may not be done before the vote occurs.

The more I think about it, the more I would much rather have the Browns leave the area all together than giving them a penny to move to Brook Park. I am sick of billionaires getting their way at the taxpayer expense. Businesses and people will shift their season tickets to the Cavs and Guardians. I know the 90s were just the perfect scenario where everything went right with the sell outs back when Jacobs field could seat 45k but I have to imagine the Guardians attendance and viewership would go up massively in the region overtime if the Browns left. That in turn could cause the owners to spend more and all that good stuff. The Browns have been nothing but misery aside from a couple of seasons my whole life (born in 90) and them going would be a bummer initially but at least I would be free of the annual torture.

Yes and no. Look at the RRHOF right next to it and even without the expansion it still is in good shape. Same thing with lots of other museums and places in the area.

Not totally true. The new garage will have 2000 more parking spots which is pretty significant.

Really needed. The place is a far cry from where it was 20 years ago.

I agree, never said it was. My original post was about if it wasn't happening to Cleveland I'd be fascinated by the drama. I overall like how the city and county are handling it. Edit: My comment on being horrified is more losing the Browns from downtown and the potential consequences of everything going on.

Yeah there is definitely things like that but there are certain things happening here that seem pretty unique to Cleveland though I could be wrong 1) State actively trying to make it happen while the county does not want it 2) A regional partnership come out in favor of it causing the city and county to leave the partnership 3) A different local professional sports team come out against the move
