Cleveland: University Circle: Circle Square
Enginerd said the meeting following March 5th. So not today but the next one.

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
This is what doesn't make sense to me. They have plenty of room on the Warehouse lots to build what they desire if cost is such a big deal.

Cleveland: Housing Market
https://www.crainscleveland.com/real-estate/homebuilders-greater-cleveland-were-busy-2020-and-2021-looks-even-better Good news about there being more houses built in cleveland. Knez homes seem to be everywhere yet here is a quote from him in the article. "We don't have any finished product anywhere in the city of Cleveland that's not sold,"

Cleveland: Housing Market
Not sure if this thread is Cleveland specific or just greater Cleveland. But anyway two cities I'm looking at moving to when I move back to the area is in a year or so are University Heights and Lakewood. It's crazy watching that market heat up. Many homes are selling above ask (and ask is greatly up from a year ago) and there is little inventory. Right now single family realtor.com there are University Heights: 56 single family homes, 17 that are not under contract Lakewood: 55 sfh, 11 that are not under contract

Cleveland: Housing Market
That’s crazy. I know a couple of people who flip houses and they don’t think it is worth it to go for the abatements.

Cleveland: Housing Market
Rehabs aren’t automatically abated. There are hoops they have to jump through and standards that they have to do to get them abated.

Would the new garage have to have ground floor retail or no because it’s a rebuild?
-
Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
@KJP is it safe to say that the parking garage will not have any ground level retail presence?

Canton: Pro Football Hall of Fame Village
The article talks about the construction of an 180 room hotel in phase 2.

Nice! I will say the price for square foot was a great value!

Cleveland: Ohio City: Bridgeworks Development
It still affects the feel from the street much like the PNC building on Euclid! Even though it’s clear the PNC building is there it takes away from the wall of buildings. Setbacks in general make something feel less urban (at least to me).

Yeah unfortunately it sounds like it. Don't think he actually will do it if elected. He is just saying want the people want to hear.

Cleveland: Ohio City: Bridgeworks Development
Still looks great, but I personally like the other version better. Bummer that they had to accommodate with the set back.

I agree. Unless you know your buyer, you do not want to choose a floor that stylized. Also, the photos make the house seem very dark and drab. He might benefit from having a photographer come in and take photos because some of these realtors don't know how to present a house well. Overall, impressive for 1 guy.

Cleveland: Downtown: 55 Public Square Restoration
I love that they are going to start working on renovating the awful seven-story parking garage right away. That place is an eye-sore both inside and out. Would be amazing if they covered it up with a mural or something like that.

Cleveland Mayoral Race 2021
I watched it. Inexperience/youth shows but I do like most of what I heard from him. I think the key for him will be surrounding himself with the right people to help him make decisions that he probably is ill-equipped to make. Do like how he is for police reform but also is pro-police. He is for investing in the forgotten neighborhoods but recognizes the need to have a strong urban core. He even mentioned the possibility of us trying what Tulsa does in which we pay 10k for someone to move here from Silicon Valley. Also, like how he wants to hand WSM to a nonprofit. He seems to be overall a moderate and they tend to be the people who resonate with me the most.

Thanks! This is probably why I got confused with the boundaries!

Wow that was fast. Construction actually started earlier than what was said. That never happens!

Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
If Riverview Towers were market rate apartments, they would be some of the most desired in the city in terms of location. Right on top of Irish Bend, amazing views of downtown, right next to the WSM, right by the rapid, and you can easily walk downtown.

Cleveland: Detroit-Shoreway / Gordon Square Arts District: Development News
Is this technically outside of Gordon square? I always thought W. 58th was the border. If not what are the actual boundaries of Gordon square? http://www.gordonsquare.org/visit/maps-and-parking/

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
Yeah I’ve been positive until this. This sucks. Still thankful for jobs and a new building but still. We have an awful public square when it comes to interaction with pedestrians so I guess this is no different. O well at least we have the Euclid stretch that now is phenomenal and getting better.

Cleveland: Mayor Frank Jackson

Don't ask for a future event that could potentially have a $150 million economic impact even if this current one goes virtual. This guy has got to go.

Cleveland: General Business & Economic News
If they end up getting all the big shows from the IX, then perhaps they could expand with that land bridge that we have all been hoping for.
