Hopefully someone can restore this "castle." I love so much about it haha https://www.realtor.com/realestateandhomes-detail/3860-W-44th-St_Cleveland_OH_44109_M49996-18761?ex=2947813095
  2. Didn't even know that thread existed. I will cross post it there and if the mods want to delete this they can.
  3. Now this is a cool house. Hopefully someone is able to restore it. https://www.realtor.com/realestateandhomes-detail/3860-W-44th-St_Cleveland_OH_44109_M49996-18761?ex=2947813095
  4. I never went to the place because they had bad reviews on google. I know that makes me a typical millennial but a 3.8 with over a thousand reviews for a sit down restaurant is too low for me to even give a chance.
  5. The title is totally misleading. The nearby businesses are indifferent to it. They don't think it'll impact their business. All they care about is the actual Medical Mart remodel, not the skybridge.
  6. More than that in the press release the stated how the executive board has created/brought thousands of jobs to Denver over the years. This was a move that had everything to do with leadership wanting to be in Denver.
  7. So far the HoF project has done little to show that it is a trustworthy project. It is constantly running into financing issues while at the same time releasing new plans and dreams. I believe the last I heard was Johnson Controls was wanting to end their relationship with the HoF Village. I really don't think the project will get the money and personally I don't think they have shown that they deserve the money.
  8. It’s interesting that even after the May Co conversion there still is a market for extended stay.
  9. I also believe that DCA counts anyone who has residence downtown even if it is not their primary residence. So someone who has an apartment downtown that they use a few times a month would be counted by DCA and not by the census. Same goes with the snowbirds who list Florida as their primary residence.
  10. https://www.cleveland.com/news/2022/06/cleveland-browns-reportedly-want-new-1-billion-stadium-likely-publicly-funded.html Gotta give it to @KJP He is respected enough that Cleveland.com runs a whole story just base on his article!
  11. George is totally taking advantage of the desire to get this project going. It’s not like he is going up against a huge corporation. He is going up against the desire to stabilize the land and build a beautiful park for the community. No respect for this man as he is the Jeremy jam of Cleveland (parks n rec reference). But at least it looks like the project is moving forward.
  12. https://www.crainscleveland.com/manufacturing/honda-and-lg-energy-are-considering-ohio-new-electric-car-battery-plant I think a certain location in Brook Park would be a good fit…
  13. Can anyone summarize or is there not much to the article other than what is in the first paragraph or so?
  14. I know it has been posted in two other threads but also wanted to post it here because it is a bigger deal for Cleveland's economy. https://www.cleveland.com/business/2022/06/ford-to-build-electric-vehicle-at-ohio-assembly-plant-in-lorain-county-invest-15-billion-in-plant.html If I remember right these kind of jobs usually add at least 2 additional jobs in the region for every 1 job, so this could potentially provide 5400 much needed jobs for the region.
  15. It surprises me that a place like Dayton would not have even 1 fortune 1000 company.
  16. Hate that they made almost all of it paywalled when before it was not. Can someone put together the fortune 1000 by metro?
  17. I think most would agree with your opinion but I could be wrong.
  18. All these jobs are non union correct? Any idea on the pay?
  19. I like this overhaul. 85% abatement with a $350,000 cap is still extremely beneficial but at the same time it recognizes that these areas are much better off than they were before. There is no need to give 100% abatement on a 750k home.

Whaley won in a landslide so you made the right decision. Unfortunately it is looking like Vance has it.

Interesting enough Dolan is essentially winning in any that goes Democrat or leans Democrat. Shows that the Republicans in those areas tend to be more moderate.

If anyone thinks Vance is not that bad of a candidate, he just had Gaetz and Greene campaign with him. Dolan or bust for the Republicans to have any chance at having a rational GOP candidate.

Latest poll has it as follows Vance - 26 Mandel - 24 Dolan - 21 Gibbons - 17 Timken - 8
  24. A good size acquisition by a growing Cleveland company that just moved downtown. https://www.crainscleveland.com/real-estate/crosscountry-mortgage-acquiring-california-lender-lendus
  25. I hope not but this is my fear that the board wants to play it more cautious. I liked how Sands seemed to dream big.
