  1. Looking at CincyVison on YouTube tonight you can see they have lit up the building, mid way up below the scaffolding, with a wrap around. Looks pretty cool! Wonder what the final lighting plan will look like?
  2. Agree. I thought someone on this board quoted sources as "late Q2". Time's a wastin'.
  3. The Margaritaville Hotel will be a natural tourist draw from beyond the Tri-State region due to it's uniqueness and location on the river with a stunning view. Too many "parrot heads" in the area not to visit this destination and spend a few bucks.
  4. The Cincinnati, OH designated market area (DMA) is a U.S. television market serving the people in the state of Ohio. It is the 36th biggest television media market by size in the United States, with a total population of 989,940 TV households as of the 2022-2023 television season, up +1% from that of the 2021-2022 season.
  5. Any update of Margaritaville Hotel at Newport on the Levee construction timeline? Seems they wanted to open in early 2026?
  6. Was in Indy over the weekend. The site for the 38 story Hilton Signa hotel has three huge cranes up and they are still pouring concrete for the massive foundation. I had hoped that Cincinnati would have broken ground and started construction first on our new convention hotel....but hopefully, very soon.
  7. Attention getter is all she is. Let's get this project going. The other regional metros are eating our lunch. Stop the politics, for once.
  8. So, just looking at the preliminary renderings what does everyone think the tallest building in the project will be in terms of #stories/height? Hopefully it (they)will be visible from the cut-in-the-hill at the minimum, when completed. 15? 20?
  9. Really hope this project gets back on track. Soon. Need more cranes downtown in 2024 including convention hotel. There seems to be a need for more Class A office space.
  10. Would love to see renderings of this proposed project. Hopefully, with some height at the corner of Vine and E. McMillan.
  11. Excellent! Let's build something next time with more height.
  12. Just to clarify. Are we talking about TWO different projects? Seem like UC is looking for a much larger building/tower.
  13. 180 Walnut. Is this "dead" or on-hold? it sure would be nice to see a crane at The Banks and a building with some height down there. 180 WALNUT - Home (180walnutatthebanks.com)
  14. The Matthews design will have a large south/north view allowing spectacular views of the Ohio River and stadiums. Plus, a little more impact on the overall skyline coming down the cut in the hill. That's a bonus in my mind.
