Second this completely. Ruiter is an idiot. I wouldn't take stock in anything he says. Nothing is going to happen with the Indians. And FES is fine, and will be even better with investment in the waterfront line, waterfront development, and some additional renovations to the existing facility.

Did he finally change this design? Block Club, Design Review, and BZA have (rightfully) denied this multiple times.

The Justice center is beyond renovation. I don't think people appreciate how dilapidated and unsalvageable that place is.

As to point 3 you are certainly not correct. My office is in the Superior Building. It is 50% vacant. Same owner of the City Club Building, which is also at least 50% vacant. There is still a good inventory of class B space available.

Franklin-Clinton Block Club Meeting is tomorrow. They are losing their minds. The development committee has already met and they are tearing the plan to shreds. They refuse to even consider the idea. Tomorrow's meeting should be interesting, as the developers and Dimit make their first proposal. I really want to go, but I'm not going to miss the NFL draft for that shenanigans.
