They closed one over off west 117th near the i90 freeway entrance a few months ago..

I might be wrong but this building has no historical relevance.. It is the building next to it that everyone loves. TBH when i walk around downtown, this part of the street makes me uneasy and it is such a disturbing place. No one is going to lease those buildings and apparently they have been vacant for almost 20 years... now i might be wrong.. please dont kill me..

I believe the response to this is from the post above from KJP. The buildings do not exist, hence to tax income. Build the buildings, increase land value, add income tax from new employers, add increased tax from new people living in the area. If this project is not built it is a negative for the area and Cleveland as a whole. If someones feelings are hurt because developer found another route then the said person needs to not be so thinned skinned.

This is all very disheartening. How can we continually get in our own way? This is getting a little ridiculous and counter productive for the growth of our cities.

I wish there was a way to get our city leaders to be less constrictive and more supportive of these projects. I was walking around down there and i can only imagine how beautiful, busy and exciting the area would be with this project being finished. That area is already doing well but this could really put the finishing touches on that corner.

I was walking around there today, looks half empty as of now.. was hoping to see more vacancies.

I was out and about today... got some nice pictures of the Lumen from some new angles.

Every time i drive by this place i always think what a waste of land that is.. move that place and build something there.

So for whatever reason i didnt think this project was going to start so soon.. they are not messing around and its wonderful!!!

That was hard to read, Does the Scene actually write positive or unbiased pieces ever? I used to love reading the Scene, now i avoid it like the plague.

This is awesome.. I really hope this gets built. I love the density there.. now to extend the water front line that way....

I was out in Gordon park, Beautiful natural trial there if you havent been. Took a couple of pictures! I will go back here later this year!!

You do a great job with always giving us exciting and fun information! I check this site a couple times a day to see what new cool stuff there is.. i am normally not disappointed!

I was just thinking that looking while looking at google maps, that corner would be ripe for more development!
