Cleveland: Downtown: The Centennial (925 Euclid Redevelopment)
I'm hoping they can at least renovate and open the grand lobby - such an important tourist attraction that compliments Heinens across the street as well as the two arcades down the street. What a shame!

Cleveland: Fairfax: Development and News
The Opportunity Corridor will be just as transformative to the city as the Euclid Corridor was and is a decade prior. Build it and they will come as they say.

All this construction reminded me of a poem a came across recently by Emily Dickinson: https://www.poetryfoundation.org/poems/48747/the-props-assist-the-house-729

Looks like it's made out of cheap plastic. Hope it looks better at night.

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
Make me appreciate the size of Public Square and the impact it has on the spacing of our skyline.

I like how the Euclid corridor frames the building perfectly with an unobstructed view.

Cleveland: Downtown: The Centennial (925 Euclid Redevelopment)
I sincerely hope so! Perhaps I was conflating affordable housing with public housing. In any case, it's such a prime location in downtown Cleveland for luxury market rate units. I realize its a massive building that needs to be filled, however. I would hate to see a half empty building.

Will the two classes living together in such close proximity be able to get along with each other in the Grand Lobby? Seems like a risky proposition to me. Hope it works!

I'm surprise how small the foot print is for this project.

Cleveland: Shaker Square: Development and News
Shaker Square, along with Coventry Village, are two satellite neighborhoods around University Circle that have been stagnant, yet stable, and virtually unchanged for the past fifty plus years that I've lived in both. Larchmere and Cedar Fairmont seem to have turned the corner which gives me hope. Shaker Square should be a hub when you consider that two transit lines converge there. Van Aiken, which is farther away, is using their Blue end of the line hub to great advantage.

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
The indoor birds will enjoy they're new garden. They have plenty of bread crumbs and nesting material to go around. Now they just need a reliable source of water.

Cleveland: North Coast Harbor Developments
I'm sure LeBron will one day have a statue prominently displayed in downtown along side Jessi Owens and Jim Brown currently displayed. Something to be proud of that's uniquely our own.

I like you Cod idea. It would compliment the Cliff container ship museum really well. The Cod doesn't get many visitors. Last time I went I had the entire submarine to my self and was transported back into time. It was an awesome experience!

I think the Veranda apartments would look good surrounding the entire harbor. Perfect for residents who enjoy boating with a marina at your doorstep.

Too many cities trying to copy London imo.

That Mexican restaurant whose name escapes me is very fortunate to have no competition in the vicinity. Packed with people whenever I go there. Flats East Bank , on the other hand, has too much competition with high turnover.

Totally agree with that. Walked across it for the first and probably last time recently and was wondering what the point was.

I would have preferred the Superman Statue proposed years back at the end of the pedestrian bridge across the train tracks near the science center. Something that is uniquely linked to Cleveland on a historical/ cultural level that displays its heritage to out of town visitors would be the way to go.

Cleveland: Flats East Bank
I'm reminded of all the prominent Clevelanders at Lakeview Cemetery when I think of contemporary names such as Lerner, Lewis, and Wolstein. These were the "captains of industry" of our time and part of a long chain Clevelanders whose legacy will live forever in this town of ours. R.I.P. (I believe Bart rests at the Mayfield Cemetery adjacent to Lakeview if I'm not mistaken. Don't know where Lewis is at. Lerner is at Lakeview.)
