  1. Ohhhh, the "Thriller" dance! Argh, those pictures make me miss D.C.
  2. ^ Yeah Jeni's! Just had some dark cocoa and salty caramel yesterday :)
  3. Ha. Having worked at a paper in Northeastern Ohio, I was amazed how many staff members lived in the same part of town. Where I'm working now (not Cinci, mind you, but another C-town) there seems to be a good number of people eschewing the 'burbs and such.
  4. ^ Actually there is a water element -- a fountain in the middle. I spent five days in Siena a few years ago and have some of the same shots. It's a stunningly beautiful place, and one of the most magical places in which to get lost ... which on the twisty, narrow streets was very easy.

Wow, am I the only female lurking around here?

Born in Montgomery, raised in Miami, took an Ohio hiatus for college, and came back (screw you, drain brain.) Now live in Franklin.
  7. Agreed. Just because Cbus is enjoying some success, doesn't make Ohio's other cities any less wonderful in their own right. I think I lurk more than I post partly because things seem to turn into a competition so quickly around here. Good for Jack Hanna and the zoo. I can't wait. Now all we need are a couple of pandas to go with the manatees.
  8. I love this: Grossmann said the technology his company used in the arches was new at the time. "In life, you learn from every experience," he said. Yeah, uh, whoops. Yeesh. I can't wait until the lights are on....they'll add so much to gallery hop.

I've been lurking around here for a bit, but here's my first post: Check out GRANDVIEW. I have a gorgeous place with hardwood floors, two bedrooms, fireplace, a porch. It's a block from the Grandview Ave. strip (Spagio, Drexel, Panera, Figlio, Gibby's, GCafe, et al.) and it's 650/month. I work downtown at the newspaper and it's a quick, easy 10-minute drive in and out on 670.
