  1. I am in CF area and whenever I am coming back on the Healthline I almost always walk from Euclid and Stokes. Sometimes I would take a scooter if available. but it takes the same time if not longer to take the bus than walking and walking is much more enjoyable, even with cedar hill.
  2. No work as of yesterday, assuming today is the same. But perhaps there is some activity with it being a start of work week?
  3. Not sure of the official outcome from last night but Badger Daylighting soil excavation crew was on scene this morning so it seems to be a go
  4. It was Finch. I've been waiting for news on it too, but not holding my breath anymore.
  5. Do you know if this is going to be replacing any older dorms elsewhere, or is there a need for new residences? I'm hoping for the latter as someone who lives in the area. Between these, the other Little Italy developments, Top of the Hill, plus other developments around and throughout the area, there is going to be a solid 1000+ increase in residents in basically just a half square mile.
  6. Opportunity Corridor it is https://www.cleveland.com/cityhall/2020/01/cleveland-city-council-approves-plan-to-build-new-police-headquarters-on-the-opportunity-corridor.html
  7. Not sure this belongs in University Circle thread but here is a demo update of ex-Clinic facility at Stokes and MLK. This is from a couple days ago but they are moving pretty quickly. Hopefully the structure will be going up soon. Edit: The garage is already leveled
  8. On this mid-January day
  9. The lumen looked absolutely striking in this morning sunlight, hope to snag a picture before it clouds up
  10. Same with the one at cedar center. Seems uptown location is still open though
  11. Well put your sunglasses on urbanohio! https://www.wkyc.com/article/news/local/cleveland/sherwin-williams-rumored-to-stay-in-cleveland/95-c8c6d62b-fb8b-478a-aa7e-829d607142d4
  12. I was there. Some of the more ridiculous comments include the concern of dog poop that will be around since pets are allowed, not being a fan of pastel colors, how loud the transformers/utility boxes will be and since there are a few studios the average income tax gained will go down. I'm thankful its finally approved and that the developer has stayed on through this year of design review
  13. Just one more off topic, if anyone is interested in seeing the building of this and others like it in NEO here is Schillar Architectures Instagram. I’ve been wondering who this was being built for and needless to say I’m not disappointed
  14. I did see T-mobile even had 5G coverage map on their website for Cleveland. Interesting about UC. At the top of cedar hill a few weeks back there was crane installing something at the top of chimney/extension of Heights Medical Building. I wish I took a picture but my assumption was 5G nodes being installed given the height.
  15. Verizon launches 5G in education at Cleveland School. From many other articles I dug into on 5G, it seems the infrastructure is really being built up in Cleveland. https://www.edsurge.com/news/2019-09-28-5g-for-education-is-finally-here-first-stop-cleveland
  16. Props to the Cleveland media that are keeping it real
  17. Panoramic at the top from Reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/Cleveland/comments/cxpizl/got_to_watch_the_air_show_practice_runs_at_work/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app
  18. Already improving the city atmosphere of CSU with more floors to go. It will look great from the campus when finished!
  19. Wow it looks much larger than I expected, especially along Euclid Hts. Parking garage looks very big and upfront though. I think it would look nice if they put some type of outer metal slate-like cladding on it with a similar look to the Beacon. A living wall would pretty cool too in the portion with the green space along cedar
  20. I have heard from C/F business owners that the apartment section of development is planned to be 10 stories
  21. It actually really bums me out that this is the kind of view that will be missed out on if the project is not taller (credit: @aerialagents via instagram)
