  1. Is there a rough timeframe with regard to Moen and their decision making process? I hope we all don't have to sit on pins and needles for months on end. Our city, county and state will hopefully step up and provide whatever incentives are needed in order to convince them to stay.
  2. If SHW hopes to break ground by the end of this year of early 2022, perhaps we'll see definitive renderings by mid to late summer. I'm also hoping for a structure that approaches or exceeds 500 feet!
  3. I'm remaining optimistic about the SHW project. It was not so long ago that we genuinely feared the loss of the SHW hq to another city altogether. Thank goodness they not only decided to stay in Cleveland, but they're keeping their hq downtown. I, along with most of us, was hoping for an iconic tower, however what is being proposed will still be of such great benefit. It appears we will be getting a 600 footer which will be a beautiful addition to our skyline. The design they are focusing on is a bit "generic" , but as has been pointed out with a few tweaks in the design it could be a lot better than what we are currently thinking. This project should also spin off several other great additions to our downtown . SWH didn't become a global leader in their industry by making a lot of bad decisions. They are in the position they are because they've made great decisions and gotten a lot right. In my humble opinion I trust they will get this right too and create something of which we can be proud.
  4. I've been reading UO for nearly 3 years, but will dip a toe in the water and post my first comment. I was in Ohio City today having lunch at Market Garden Brewery with my two sons and the place was packed. Also went to Westside Market and Mitchell's ice cream and the vibrancy and energy was stunning...people everywhere having a great time and enjoying the local hotspots. I am so proud of my adopted hometown and I am very confident that developments such as Church + State will fill quickly once they come online!
