Ohio: General Business & Economic News
Definitely missed those. I'm so dumb. I didn't realize they'd be posted in specific threads and I was searching for a very broad "Ohio All" thread to post it in. Thanks!

Ohio: General Business & Economic News
Is this the best place to post this? This seems significant: https://www.bizjournals.com/columbus/news/2020/12/30/dewine-signs-commercial-real-estate-legislation.amp.html?__twitter_impression=true

Columbus: Restaurant News & Info
Zyrokai replied to buildingcincinnati's post in a topic in Restaurants, Local Events, & EntertainmentHere's a rather somber contribution to this thread.....it's a list of every restaurant that has closed in 2020 broked down by area: From Columbus Alive

Columbus: Short North Developments and News
Zyrokai replied to buildingcincinnati's post in a topic in Central & Southeast Ohio Projects & ConstructionI legitimately like the look of this building on the outside. Inside has a bunch going on, it seems.

Cleveland Guardians Discussion
I like Cleveland Spiders. Isn't that their original name anyway or something? Is spelling it "Spyders" too edgy? Lol

Columbus: Restaurant News & Info
Zyrokai replied to buildingcincinnati's post in a topic in Restaurants, Local Events, & EntertainmentOut of curiosity, I was on Google Map's and saw that about 90% of the reviews are scathing. What's going on here? Sounds horrible. I was excited about this place opening as I ate at the one in Ohio City once and really liked it. I'm surprised at the reception here, although I know this isn't the best of times to be opening.

Columbus: Restaurant News & Info
Zyrokai replied to buildingcincinnati's post in a topic in Restaurants, Local Events, & EntertainmentHey, since I'm currently living in NEO, I was wondering what happened with Townhall at the new Moxy hotel? Did it ever open? I remember reports in might not ever open. I hope it + their rooftop bar are able to survive the pandemic :(

Columbus: Short North Developments and News
Zyrokai replied to buildingcincinnati's post in a topic in Central & Southeast Ohio Projects & ConstructionThe city is terrible with this stuff and still prioritizes cars. There is also no excuse for the terrible pedestrian crosswalk markings not being striped in the most pedestrian centric area in the city, but I won't get on that soap box today :p This building DOES look great, though. I can't wait to see it once I move back to Columbus. All the changes, really! Lots going on still. Side note: I've been in that house directly behind this building and it used to have a great view of High street from the rooftop patio, but that definitely seems gone now, lol.

Pretty historic! So glad they redid the river. That's allowing for all this to happen.

Columbus: Easton Developments and News
I honestly can't wrap my head around driving from Michigan to go to Polaris or Easton. There's really no equivalent in Michigan? Are Easton and Polaris THAT unique? I mean just in Northeast Ohio there's Crocker Park and Legacy Village. They're basically Eastons or at least have the novelty of it. I didn't think this format was rare or anything. And Polaris is just sprawl.....isn't it? I mean.....I feel like Belden Village + The Strip in North Canton have most of the same stuff as any location like Polaris. Not trying to derail the thread. I'm just truly baffled, lol. Carry on.

Zyrokai replied to buildingcincinnati's post in a topic in Central & Southeast Ohio Projects & ConstructionI strongly dislike these people. How can you see that and say "no, I'd rather it be an empty parking lot, thank you"

Columbus: Franklinton Developments and News
The rental rates for Gravity 1.0 have definitely gone down. I just got an email from them with a 3-month free rent promotion. I hope this isn't a reason they're hesitating on starting 2.0. Although the new rates are definitely more tempting for me, but I am not looking to move until mid next year 😞 Edit: Looks like I was beaten by mere seconds! haha

Columbus: Short North Developments and News
Zyrokai replied to buildingcincinnati's post in a topic in Central & Southeast Ohio Projects & ConstructionI don't understand how those two sites still remain there like that. It's nuts at this point. Also, I don't understand why the city can't use freaking striped crosswalks in the most pedestrian heavy area of the city. It boggles my mind.

Columbus: Downtown: Lower.com Field / Astor Park
Ugh, Austin's location is terrible as well. It's up by the Dominion, I think it's called (Edit: It's called the Domain)? It's basically their Easton. Imagine having this stadium at Easton.

Columbus: Downtown: Lower.com Field / Astor Park
I'm so excited for this stadium and I don't think I've ever even watched a full soccer game. Maybe I can become a fan. I wonder how many others out there are like me?
