Ouch..that was ugly last night

I never understand what these "rally's" accomplish....how can one stop random crime? Would more police be good? yes Where will the money come from? I hate to see what happens in this city as well, but when you have such a huge poverty striken population...what can you do to change it? I would love to see the city saturated with jobs...but guess what...jobs leaving cities/this country are the trend. Here is a better idea...don't go out and rally...rather stay home, teach children right from wrong and the importance of an education...this all starts at home by setting good examples...not having elected officials raise children for you.

Why do most people on here seem so damn smart to me, and most people at ODOT/RTA seem so clueless as to the needs of transportation/urban design/and TOD to a city? I hope these nonproggressive people read these posts!!!!

Areas such as Lindale, Brooklyn Hts, Newburgh Hts, Cuyahoga Hts, and Bratenahl are a joke in my opinion. They should all be part of Cleveland proper! What is even more disturbing is that Lindale and Bratenahl have no fire service, so the city of Cleveland provides the service for them. I am allowed to risk life an limb in those communities, but not allowed to live there! (Not that I could or would want to) I wish Cleveland would try to put some pressure on these place to go the route Columbus does and annex. It is a waste of services...police, fire, trash collection, etc etc...it is unfortunate. I guess the biggest complaint that would come form all of this is being absorbed into the Cleveland school system. (Brooklyn Hts, Cuyahoga Hts, Newburgh)

So is there an "official" total for the 2006 homicides in Cleveland yet? I read there were "at least" 117 in the PD, but the Columbus paper stated there were 119....anyone know?

CRAP!!!!! I was there, but had no idea where to look...so I just sat at the bar and drank myself stoopit! I have been computerless for about two weeks now and didn't know where to look when I was there (using lakewood library comp right now) I hope to meet everyone at the next one!

The Browns have compiled @2400 total yds this year, 1050 of which being rushing. The Titans have compiled a hair under 4000 yds, 1800 of which have been rushing. Last game the Browns played, the line did a good job blocking...or did they? We compiled a whopping 18 yds on the ground! Maybe the line looked decent because Anderson MAY..I am saying MAY, be able to read the blitzes better and read the blocks better (stepping up into the pocket instead of running out of it and into the arms of a defender). I am NOT Frye bashing, he is a tough kid with guts and ability. Sometimes, however, there are intangibles that make a QB what he is. Anderson to me, seems to have a much stronger arm, his check downs on the receiver progression seem better, and his ability to get rid of the ball faster seems better. All in all, I think both guys are decent. I would love to see what these guys could do with a solid running game to compliment the passing game. When a QB is in an obvious passing situation, the play action won't fool anyone with the running game we have. These guys are under fire everytime they drop back. As I said earlier, let's get a strong line and build from there. Vince Young or LT would be nice to have in a Browns uniform, but if they won't get the proper blocks...what could even they do here?

One week does not a season make.....KC rarely blitzed if at all...and the Steelers didn't blitz near as much as they usually do, I am assuming due to the fact they had two DB's out that night. I am not sure how many people realize how Troy Polamalu affords a the Steelers a strong blitzing D because of his abilities to cover the field the way he does. The needs for the Browns in my opinion are...1) O line 2) another strong pass rusher(D line or linebacker) 3) D backs 4) a sure handed receiver most other positions are passable for the time being

^Why, so yet another QB can be beaten mercilessly behind a sub par O line? A very good QB behind a shitty line make hime a less than average QB...I would rather have an average QB beind a good O line....we need to fix the line....ask Couch, Holcomb, Garcia, Dilfer, Frye, and Anderson
