Cincinnati Bengals Discussion
The Bengals looked pretty sharp.....Palmer was on, the defense looked good...but I think they would have gotten a better game out of another team with the same color uniforms...St Ed's!

Cleveland: Cuyahoga County Gov't properties disposition (non-Ameritrust)
As much as I am not a fan of the old beehive, I would rather see that thing get rehabbed and keep the height than to see a new building and lose at least 10-15 stories......these renderings suck IMO.....reduce the footprint and add height I say!!!

Mayor Jackson and development in Cleveland
As much as I am nnot a big Jackson fan (nor was I of Jane...even less actually), I won't say he isn't doing anything.....he just doesn't plaster his face and a big cheesy smile all over the TV. I have a friend that works closely with his cabinet (he is a consultant) and he says there are many things going on but Jackson chooses not to make big news out of them until they actually materialize. What you ask? My friend says he can't say......

Modern Roundabouts in Ohio
Here is a question.....in a round about, isn't the traffic IN the circle supposed to have the right of way? It seems some of the prior round abouts mentioned, the traffic in it has to yield to oncoming traffic....which to me seems idiotic (plus it does that disqualify it as a true round about?)

Maybe backwardass pussy Ohio should bring back prohabition...that is another evil that us helpless citizens should be saved from...oh wait, the state makes WAY too much tax revenue off of that...

This whole project just sucks in my opinion! I hate losing those buildings......why can't they bury the trench.....build over it and make even MORE space to build MORE things!?

Cleveland: HealthLine / Euclid Corridor
There IS residential in that building, but to be honest, I am not sure what the street level space is used for. There seems to be quite a bit of the "artsy" type people moving there way up Payne Ave towards E 55th, but E 55th seems to be a bit of an invisible fence. That area IS mainly black E of 55th, but I have seen a bit more diversity as of late. I hope things start to change, but I will admit it can be a bit dicey. I have seen a lot of things on the job that never get reported on the news.....and I would rather leave it that way! I hate to see the media stifle growth before it has a chance to actually happen.

Cleveland Browns Discussion
The defense actually looked pretty decent.....the two new rookies looked great at linebacker....the offense..well, wasn't a disaster, but could have looked better. I am still a bit unsure if Frye's arm is strong enough...there were not enough passes for me to make judgment....as for depth...PLEASE don't let anyone else get hurt! I would really like to see the rookie RB Harrison get some more PT...I think there might be some serious potential there....that was just a brief synopsis...

Cleveland: Random Development and News
Unfortunately most of the things that were/are planned for that side of town seem to "suburbanize" the East side. Bigger houses, bigger yards, shopping plazas with front parking, etc It is unfortunate that the inner city seems to want to get away from density, and model itself after the burbs. (at least certain areas of the city)

Ohio: Residency Rule Requirement
I wonder what is ACTUALLY going on right now. Is there anything that has happened with the lawsiuts by the cities? Is this ONE court case with all cities combined, or seperate court cases? If the Cleveland lower court finds in favor of the law, but the Cincinnati court finds opposed to the law....how would the state supreme court rule? Is the law in effect or is there an injunction against it right now? If there is no injunction, can a city legally fire someone for moving? There are lots of unanswered questions that nobody seems to know the answer for. Just curious if anybody actually KNOWS...not opinion.

Cleveland: What about Old Brooklyn?
^Trust me, if and when I move from Cleveland..it will be on a small farm..I have no interest in the burbs! Not a very good rebuttle for what I said...I meant "old school" discipline...never mentioned anything about moving...

I would NEVER root for Akron or Kent over my beloved Buckeyes!!! You misunderstood what I was saying. As for the MAC..it has gotten way tougher from when I was there...they have been the spoilers for a few MAC/Big Ten matchups. As for Buffalo...I thought that decision sucked as well.
