Anyone have any good suggestions on books about Cincinnati? They may be fiction, non-fiction, photography, etc. Anything about the history of Cincinnati would be great as well. Also, anyone have a source for old Cincinnati postcards? Thanks!

Here's what my unit looks like currently. It's towards the back of the building, the windows face Ruth Lyon's Alley. They are more or less working their way from the top of the building to the bottom, so since my unit is on the 2nd floor, it's not as far along as some of the others: Steel beam that goes the width of the unit: This will eventually have glass panels installed. It's the wall between the bedroom and the living space: Gas Fireplace: Exposed brick wall, facing Convergys building, wood beamed ceiling: Kitchen area: Here are some pictures of a unit with the same floorplan as mine that's a bit further along since it's on an upper floor. Obviously the finished will be different on my unit: Inside bedroom, looking out: Completely different unit facing the front of the builiding, bigger and much more $$$: I'm happy to share if anyone has questions... I also have some pictures of properties I've looked at in OTR if anyone would like to see those.

I am excitied. Can't wait. Any idea what took so long?

It depends on the floor, but yes, on many floors they are down to the finish work. A few folks have even moved in. I'll see if I can get some updated photos posted after my next visit. My unit is on the second floor, and they are more or less moving from top to bottom, so mine isn't as far along.

It's 26 East 6th. It's between the CAC and the Chiquita building. The project is called Graydon place. How's your new place working out?

Move in should in October (hopefully). I'd post a photo of the view, but just imagine the side of the Chiquita building and you've pretty much got it :). I'm not one of those rich folks who can afford a view AND have enough space to live comfortably.

This isn't actually my unit.. but it's the same floorplan on a different floor. Thought you all might like to see the progress: Can't wait till it's done. My floor is not as near as far along.

I think I'm one of the few people who actually like it.
