  1. Hang in there! I had to unexpectedly rent an apartment for over a year, it was rough. I imagine that they are being careful and thorough and want to get things done right...

Dammit, I just bought the 20" not too long ago.

I've used it... it's good stuff.
  4. I just said it currently looks goofy, and I stand by that statement :).
  5. Hope you're right... I also think it looks kinda goofy at the moment.
  6. What is a prevailing wage?
  7. I don't know how many people get that! But that's damn funny! Hehe... Got here just fine. I'm here for the Pitchfork Music festival, so my weekend is fairly booked up. I'm staying at the Allegro on the loop. There are TVs, but they didn't use them for anything.
  8. So long as the mobile coverage holds out :).
  9. Wow.... I'm suprised, in like, a positive way. That almost never happens :).
  10. So, I'm on the bus right now and can provide up to the minute updates :). It was about an hour late this morning... and we're on our way to Indy right now via I-74. Bus is almost full. Hopefully I'll end up in Chicago as planned. Yes, I'm a geek... I use my laptop on the bus.
  11. Very cool.
  12. I have heard this as well. The reason why our condo in the McAlpin is so far behind schedule is because of "surprises" found in the building during the rehab. I talked to the project manager for the construction company, and she said that if it was new contruction, it would be finished now. Best of luck to those buying in Parker Flats! It'll be great to have so many neighbors on 4th St. Yup. I wasn't so upset with the timeframe, as things happen. I am more bothered by the lying and failure, and thus far a failure to deliver a finished quality product.
  13. I'm optimistic for Parker Flats - best of luck to you.
  14. Prolix - thanks for looking that up.... 15. I sent an email today to Citybeat... not that they probably care what Citybeat says... does anyone happen to have some media contacts that might be interested in writing a line or two in the paper about this? It drives me crazy to see postive press about MED every couple of weeks in the paper after they've so thorougly screwed over so many people... On another note, with all these lawyers around I'm surprised they haven't gotten themselves into more trouble... I wish I knew some of you when I went forward with my suit. What has happened with Kinsey really saddens me.
  16. They'll let it sit there for 10 years before they bend to the will of a buyer. Either that or they will make empty promises.
  17. Not a bad suggestion...
  18. See, I'm not totally crazy :).
  19. Uhm... okay, you climbed out of your sunroof on the Brent Spence?
  20. The ETA for our garage was Oct of '05. I'm still waiting :).
  21. Feel like taking on a case? :) I recommend Haynes007. With him being a future resident of Parker Flats, I'm sure MED would love it. ;) That would be amusing. I'm hopeful that everything works out well for him.
  22. The awesome part of this is that now that the condo association (ie me and the other owners) now own the building, we're responsible for their poor workmanship. It never ends :).
  23. Feel like taking on a case? :)
