I would say were going to get good pitching here and the rest of the guys are just thowens.
  2. I would buy one of thouse, they are great renderings. If they built that Cincinnati would raise from the grave.
  3. That might put a damper on the 3x4, i didnt know about odell. :-(
  4. I was a bit supprised that cincy wasn't in the list with all the top rated companies that are in the city.

I like it, allthough i would have like to trade Dunn instead of kerns.  but you have to think that kerns untill this year had lost a lot of trade value because of injury's and such.
  6. This just about guarantees in my mind that the Bengals will run a 3x4 next year.
  7. Where the (best) 6-figure jobs are If keeping more of your paycheck is important to you, some places are much better than others. By Jeanne Sahadi, CNNMoney.com senior writer July 13 2006: 1:18 PM EDT NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Making $100,000 or more is nothing to sneeze at. Only 5 percent of earners in 2004 reported making that much, according to Census data. WHAT $100K REALLY LOOKS LIKE 16 cities where 6FigureJobs.com and TheLadders.com have had the greatest number of six-figure job listings, and the gross salary required to replicate $100,000 after adjusting for cost-of-living. CITY SALARY New York $205,426 San Francisco $179,034 Los Angeles $156,106 San Diego $149,384 Washington, D.C. $141,894 Boston $137,649 Chicago $126,929 Seattle $117,037 Atlanta $102,805 Denver $102,348 Cleveland $101,986 Milwaukee $101,478 Phoenix $97,976 Dallas $93,665 Charlotte $92,991 Houston $88,977 _______________________________ http://money.cnn.com/2006/07/13/pf/six_fig_farthest/index.htm

agree, also I don't know if vancover does it (I'm not familiar with Canada tax law) but don't most city's now aday give so many tax breaks to big company's that they would almost be guarantied more tax revenue from income tax and smaller restaurants and such business.
  9. wasn't their some talk of one of the bigger banks, (chase) buying out 5/3?

Ok, wouldn't the free market decide were the jobs are going to be, and if i run my company and want to employ the best workers I'm going to go were they are, plus what space i can afford to rent and such other variable's that play into the equation. I would think having lots of residence downtown would help attract companies not deter them from the city.
  11. about 3-5 years experience? my company is looking to fill a position.
  12. Just curious...what is ikea age? Ikea age is when the MOMs that are shopping are still real HOT... so 20 - 45 :)
  13. By John Prolly at July 6, 2006 12:18 PM5. I foresee a great deal of trouble with my cock ring. :-D
  14. http://www.ingenuitycleveland.com/ Its getting lots of play on current.tv witch has got to be the best tv station ever.
  15. turn it into a park, and buy the fryers club to turn into mixed use retail/condo conversion. then build new condos along McMillan on the south side of the street starting at pomidores(sp?) all the way to the fryers club. That would be sweet.
  16. ^ I have wanted a leather recliner from potery barn for the last 2 years, but i cant drop 2k on a recliener just yet.
  17. so i should take your advice and get my wife to stop looking at ikea stuff and just go right to teh abc carpet and home stuff, becuase then we wont have to re buy everything in a couple of years.
  18. Great Ideal, but wait then i would have to find another way to drive home from work everyday. How does one get a city to close of a street from cars?? anyone know
  19. Someone break out the top soil, UC want's more green space so this is how they went about doing it I guess.
  20. sad that i live five minutes away and my wife is an artist and we are both under 30 and we had no ideal that this was going on, sad , sad marketing. well I guess we will be their next month. sucks that cincy has everything and more then a city like portland but it dose not have the word of mouth or local TV/newpaper advertisement, or the local trains/transportation that portland has. Especially when cincy has major company's that pump a lot of money into the region that portland dose not have.
  21. so who wants to place bets as to how long it takes till google buy you guys out and makes you supper rich, then you can donate money to a cincinnati subway system.
  22. Was there any mention as to why they were 'kicking' those tenants out? Is there a larger tenant that they may be trying to make room for.....what? I wouldn't think that they would just go 'kicking' people out all willy nilly. Sorry, I forgot to mention the reason! 5/3 is relocating their branch on the skywalk level down to the street level. I do think that this makes sense, especially with the skywalk demolition. However, I think it is unfortunate that successful businesses will close. I'm under the impression that Servatti's will not bother trying to find another location to replace 6th Street. Their court street location will be the only one downtown. It seems that over the past few years, several business down here have been kicked out by their landlords, never to open again in CBD. Havana Martini Club has been the exception. Servatti's opened up a store in Clifton (the old Virgina bakery)
  23. I hear you man but I can't see an Ikea on the Norwood Lateral. Some where around the Center of Cincinnati would be more attractive but I don't think there is a parcel of land big enough for their footprint. I dont know what the lot size is, I was just thinkning about the highways and location. The norwood location wouldnt fight with anyother location and would open up the south, plus it would be right in the middle of both I75 & I71 plus I74.
  24. http://www.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=norwood+cincinnati+ohio+&ie=UTF8&ll=39.166071,-84.456121&spn=0.006513,0.010064&t=h&om=1 I dont know if this would be a big enough site, but this would be a great location for and ikea.
