  1. More updates and blue skies! They're starting to put up branding on the NE corner. Also Discount Drug signage is up on the plaza facing entrance. And a what if shot, considering all the buzz with Nucleus today ?
  2. Here's an update of the rear of the building. Does the neighboring parking garage connect to each floor? Just noticed how it's pretty much built into the May Co.'s wall...
  3. lol this tactic reminds me of the Lebron come to [insert city] billboards that sprouted up around town last year.
  4. To go along with the sentiment, it's not like we're losing much in way of retail unless you're of the belief that Dollar-A-Rama, Jewls and More, Cricket, and the like are holding down the space (I realize it's a much different mix than the mall of the past), but it's kind of embarrassing as a marquee space at the moment. Of course it'd be nice to get a larger retailer downtown and this limits the possibility of say, Target coming in, but there's still space for something in the downtown area. Sidenote, if this is the 'Blockland' campus this spells well for the waterfront being a public space versus a closed campus as someone was surmising the other day in that thread. PS- how has Brooks Brothers held on this long???
  5. Not sure if this is the right place for this but found it interesting there's a bridge going between the Creswell Apartments and the Halle parking deck/annex going over Brownell Ct., looks like it was put in between 2017 and 2018 (can't find it on aerial imagery previous to this time period but I could be wrong), either way, connected parking, woo! Lol ? also fun fact, the parcel that the Creswell is on has a 'Subsidized Housing' land use code with the county.
  6. Took a handful of pics on my lunch break, sorry about the one angled shot, was trying to avoid getting fencing in the pic! (was planning on going on the PHS parking deck but they're just about at the same level at this point)
  7. They peeled the 'wrapping' off, I'd say it looks better than the renderings so far, meshes well with the brown of the skyline looking west...
  8. I'll look again today, but when I walked by the other day there wasn't any scaffolding that went directly up to the building, there was about a 8' gap between this and the windows of their cafeteria, made me think that it'd be for work higher up (if something fell, it'd probably float outward), maybe I'm overthinking it lol
  9. Sorry about the screenshot, but looks like the beacon is open for leasing
  10. I moved here about three years ago, between this and CAC/Athlon its crazy how great this is. Like, plastic fluttering in the wind/vacant goliaths were such a bad look for a downtown...so glad it'll be a thing of the past in the very near future!!
  11. Thanks, without going too off topic, here's the theater entrance and source (went on Cleveland Historical after all haha)
  12. That makes a LOT more sense, I was thinking it may have had something to do with the Statler being there too, gotta have a fancy garage for fancy guests. Without looking on Cleveland Historical, do you know when the theater was taken out/was it (I'm assuming) replaced with the garage? And thanks for the compliment!
  13. Took some pics on lunch break of the rear of the bldg. Got a couple interior shots of the gutted inside and having never walked through that parking garage, it's interesting how they extended architectural design to the walls of the entrance
  14. Snagged a pic of one of my favorite angles this morning, also tried to zoom in a tad on the insulation
  15. Speaking of 200 Public Square, what do y'all think of the video board they put on the parking garage facing Euclid? Not sure when it went up, but I first noticed it a few weeks ago...
  16. As a transplant in the past few years, I just googled it and wow, what a difference. Was it an active/populated space under this design?
  17. If you look a bit closer it looks like they're getting the first floor(s) ready for ground level retail when I looked at it the other day. At least they were framing the bottom 1.5 floors for what looked to be (and their renderings confirm) to be a decent street presence. I'll try and snap some pics at lunch today.
  18. Is it possible to walk into the Post Office building and look around/is it worth it (are there any visible murals or anything significance)?
  19. This gives a little breakdown of what's owned by the 'Playhouse Square Foundation', it's not the easiest to figure what's an air parcel and what isn't from the image, but for quick reference, parcels ending in -300 to -699 are typically Condo or Air Rights parcels. To get a closer/better view, check out the County GIS Application.
  20. I know you can't see much, but looks like they're working away at the suite renovations. Also looks like they're doing work in the player's parking lot area.
  21. Another shot of the south side of the building.
  22. The curved steel on the corner of Ontario and Huron is pretty cool too, I'll try and get a pic of that next time I walk that way. It's impressive how fast they've been moving installing the glass!
  23. Here's the backside of the building
  24. A few pics from walking around during lunch break
