Cleveland: Ohio City: Bridgeworks Development
Still not a fan of that shade of green, but that type of thing is nothing but subjective on my part...

Cleveland: Downtown: Skyline 776 (City Club Apartments)

Cleveland: Downtown: 55 Public Square Restoration
your username is apt for the statement haha

Cleveland: Jack Cleveland Casino
That's great news. I've noticed the (now former?) stand getting spruced up lately too. Wonder if anything might be going in there.

Cleveland: Restaurant News & Info
Anyone have opinions on Stonefruit Coffee on Euclid? Pour was way up there as far as quality, wondering if their drip coffee and the like is the same? As much as I love phx and rs, it's nice to have a third option for really good coffee.

Shhhhh that's prime night biking territory lol but seriously, you could have drag races all night on certain streets and nobody would know.

2022 U.S. Senate Race
Mandel has done nothing to deserve respect of any kind. His ads are vitriolic and his rhetoric is abhorrent. I wonder if he'll lose his fake Appalachian accent now.

2022 Cuyahoga County Executive Election
Chris is the winner in the dem election (66-34%), pretty surprising that Tariq got as many votes as he did (~23k). After a bunch of failed campaigns at this point, maybe he'll stop running for office?

Cleveland Heights: Development and News
Was looking through results and about to post this. Good for Cle Hts - was somewhat worried with all the 'Yes' signs I saw while on a bike ride around the heights last week.

2022 U.S. Senate Race
If anyone can break through Ohio, I have faith in Tim Ryan, not a ton, but some. Definitely similar to Sherrod with working class and "working man" vote, but I can't imagine two D senators from Ohio. This race is going to be very, very expensive.

2022 Ohio Gubernatorial Election
Looking over the maps on politico, pretty embarrassing for Cranley that he barely beat out Nan in Hamilton County. He carried Toledo and Cinci metro areas...weird. https://www.politico.com/2022-election/results/ohio/

2022 U.S. Senate Race
Pulled a republican ballot earlier, glad to see that Ryan pulled through, hopefully my Dolan vote helped, too. Here's to hoping I didn't screw over Whaley.

Awesome, thanks for the heads up.

Too lazy to search, but is there a construction cam yet?

Cleveland: Crime & Safety Discussion
Parma and Lakewood aren't the size or scope of Cleveland (or do they carry the same issues as Cle - funding, staffing, etc.). Apples to oranges comparison.

Cleveland: Crime & Safety Discussion
This has nothing to do with the mayor, also chill out with the trumpian rhetoric. @KFM44107 do you think chasing would be effective? I know Police Interceptors are high powered cars but you're dealing with high powered cars with idiots driving them. I've noticed OSHP choppers on FlightAware and occasionally CPD chopper up, but really do wonder what can prevent this type of stuff.

Cleveland: Crime & Safety Discussion
The city needs traffic calming measures asap. So many Cleveland roads can lose a lane or two- most roads are 25MPH but are designed for 55MPH/are only at "full" capacity around shift changes. We don't have the police force to enforce traffic violations so why not eliminate our 4-6 lane super highways cutting across town - shift all that crap to the Opportunity Corridor and Interstates. I'm coming at this from a cycling perspective where I see idiots flying by me while I'm actually going the speed limit (25+MPH).

2022 U.S. Senate Race
Ugh, I hate to pull an R ballot since I'll start getting those mailers but seems like a smart idea w these numbers. Has anyone seen D-Gov polling? I can check that thread too instead of bogging this one down.

Cleveland-Akron: Bicycling Developments and News
Cycling survey from a JCU professor: This is a survey being conducted by Dr. Katie Knoll-Frey, a faculty member from John Carroll University. The current study is trying to understand bicycling, knowledge of bicycling rules/laws and adherence to these rules, interactions with police and perceptions of police. Please only participate in this survey if you use a bicycle outside in any capacity, meaning that you have used a bicycle in public space as opposed to indoor cycling for exercise. https://johncarroll.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_5aJavqHo8kjMAhU

Definitely concerned about folks kicking the crap out of the pellets (especially in the Panini's/Clevelander/bar area spots). But whatever I'm open to see how it turns out. I do wish they went for a more slightly color - brown or something, but hey, I'm glad they're doing it and will hold judgement to see how it goes. It's a pilot program for a reason. Thanks for the explainer though @mrclifton88I love how pretty much any question/observation in Cle's urban environment can be answered on here!- Cleveland: Streetscape Improvements
Another interesting thing I've caught lately...replacing the steel grates with gravel and rubber pellets that look like asphalt.- Cleveland: Streetscape Improvements
I just left a comment on the city's site, I'll update if there's any response. The only thing I can imagine holding this up is maybe waiting on a tree?- Cleveland: Streetscape Improvements
A month later and lol no progress- Cleveland: University Circle: Circle Square
