FYI Bibb and his team held a call with CDC's this morning to figure out their pain points and see how they can help more with this upcoming storm. They have five more trucks and are going to start plowing residential streets at the same time they're plowing main ones. 30 Hand shovelers mainly dispatched downtown and will be coordinating with RTA and bus stops and move their way out from the city center. Give Bibb all the crap you want, but this is governmental action that hasn't been seen in years. Hopefully the plan works out!

This fascination with Weingart and his donations (lol it's $5k we're talking about, chump change) has overshadowed who was pushing for Kelley and how it backfired in their faces. To segue with the County Executive race, maybe it shows that the influence of the 'old guard' is fading.

I mean just because you work with someone doesn't mean that you like them or your values align. Not to mention Bibb was in college, that's far from being a partner w/ Weingart.

I'd also imagine a lot of the higher level staff are unprotected and could be replaced if she wanted to. Really want to give her the benefit of the doubt but this is shaping up to be pretty disappointing compared to all the fanfare there was when she showed up.

Talking with some folks that had toured the building trying to buy years ago, it really does sound like a mess inside. They had said pretty much anywhere you go inside you either need to go up or down stairs (arguably easy-ish fix), but he made it sound like aside from the outside there isn't much worth salvaging inside. Turning the utilities off screwed it up bigtime in regards to salvaging it, but they also pointed out that it was just a working class church (linoleum floors, crappy subfloor, asbestos everywhere) so again, not a whole lot to salvage outside of the building. It really changed my opinion on the church building. As far as the Greenline Building, that's kind of a bummer - it's a unique building (albeit awkward), was hoping they could at least salvage that in the mix but so it goes.

I've also done some mapping for Jayme w/OBCDC and huge credit to her for keeping an eye on LLC's, Bulk Buyers, and slumlord properties in the CDC. Hopefully with Ms. Martin in CLE, some things can be done about it other than just keeping tabs on them.

Just gotta say I always appreciate your historical perspectives @LifeLongClevelander. Between this and your knowledge w RTA you really help paint a picture. And same goes for @KFM44107(and @cfdwarrior) always helps to have some inside perspective when sensitive subjects are brought up.

I've found the anti-Bibb twitter and lol unless he solves the Israel-Palestine conflict he's "just in it for the photo ops". I really don't understand how people have so much disdain for him when he's literally been in office two weeks and the city has languished for so long. People expect change overnight I guess. I'm encouraged that a plan is in the works, hopefully it prevents another issue like this. I look forward to the city updating and when necessary, establishing plans to ensure a smooth and improved delivery of municipal services.

You almost need to turn from the left lane to get it right, I think it's less of a snow issue and more of a tight turn issue. Snow or not that platform is pretty much right there. Ope, I stand corrected.

Didn't have time to go onto the parking garage, but parking lot is up and they're digging in the dirt now...

Going to be a long couple years w/City Club being built and them having to take a turn off of E9 onto Euclid. The bus was able to back out of this but oof, glad I'm not a driver on this line.
