Cleveland: Ohio City: INTRO (Market Square / Harbor Bay Development)
Drove north W25 the other night and you could see a few lights on in the apartments, going to be something when it isn't just 1-2 lit up. With that, hopefully folks invest in some window treatments, you can see right into them hah.

Cleveland: Brooklyn Centre / Old Brooklyn: Development and News
Personal note, but I've really been considering Brooklyn Centre area and have always thought, dang, could really use a coffee shop in that neck of the woods/a place to relax- here's to hoping. Ever since the transfer they've had all the windows open, also someone tagged above the front door like right after too hah. Going to be pretty cool seeing this come online- there's a handful of empty storefronts around here that could benefit from this.

2022 Cuyahoga County Executive Election
- 2022 Cuyahoga County Executive Election
Figure it wouldn't hurt to start a thread for this and keep all the exec discussion in one topic. Currently declared: Chris Ronayne (D), former President of University Circle (2005-2021) Brad Sellers (D), mayor of Warrensville Heights (2012-Present) Lee Weingart (R), former Cuyahoga County Commissioner (1995-1997)- 2022 U.S. Senate Race

Seems like a good sign- Cleveland: Mayor Justin Bibb
Oh wow whoops. That's what I get for not having coffee today.- Cleveland: Mayor Justin Bibb
Here's your answer haha Edit: I lied, chair of PC.- Cleveland Hopkins International Airport

Lol I love how cheesy this is. Thanks for the most @mrnyc- Cleveland-Akron: Bicycling Developments and News
No news, just a shameless bike pic, happy new year y'all.- Cleveland: Downtown: Skyline 776 (City Club Apartments)
Sorry if I'm misconstruing the q, but when Myplace isn't showing all documents it's always worth searching the AFN in the Recorded Document Search site: https://fiscalofficer.cuyahogacounty.us/en-US/RecordedDocumentsServices.aspx. Just did a quick search and it looks like the plat and some correspondence was uploaded.- Cleveland-Akron: Bicycling Developments and News
When I went on the tours for the Redline Greenway and the Wendy Park Bridge, Sean McDermott and staff had noted the trail/greenway discrepancies between East and West within the city and how they were planning to focus on the east more. I'm glad they put their money (and grant writing staff) where their mouths were!- Cleveland: Flats Developments (Non-Stonebridge or FEB)
Reminds me a bit of the SA Riverwalk (in areas outside of the really active parts). If that canal plan came to in The Flats this would be cool! Also let it freeze in the winter so we can skate on it (a la Canalside in Buffalo).- Cleveland: Random Development and News
Some streets have up to 3-4 names if you dig into them. The county's LBRS data has more than one field if you start digging into it. I'd imagine the old, old names aren't in there (not my wheelhouse) but you might find some gems if you dig into it some. Address and Street Data And aside from old Directories from the library, this is always a good resource for looking up historic street names- Cleveland: Downtown: Skyline 776 (City Club Apartments)
Just a little inside baseball: the property/transfer data is updated nightly whereas the GIS is typically updated weekly. So, if a property is transferred and there's no linework changes (or parcel number changes) you should see it pretty much the next day if things are operating on all cylinders. We're working on making the GIS part of things a nightly process but that's still a ways out.- Greater Cleveland RTA News & Discussion
If you read the most recent pages in here I think it's spelled out pretty well from @LifeLongClevelander. Not to put words in their mouth, and (a very bad) TLDR has to do with the RTA alienating pretty much anyone but residents of CLE with the redesign. That and getting rid of certain park and rides, certain routes, ramifications when it comes to an RTA levy, etc. etc. Again, terrible TLDR and there's more to it but I get where they're coming from. It benefits me as a city resident but at the same time my coworker in NO lost their park and ride and it now would take them 1-2 hours on a CSU line to get downtown.- Cleveland: Mayor Justin Bibb

Cuyahoga County specific, but we're working on daylighting fiscal data (sales, tax distribution, etc.) in an easily digestible format. For now, we have our Recent Sales Viewer active but pay attention to the below site for additional pieces being added in the new year. https://fiscalgishub.cuyahogacounty.us/ Other counties with GIS Departments are standing up similar viewers- google Equitable Property Value and (county) and there's a good chance you'll find something out there!- Cleveland: Random Development and News
FYI, not development but related: if you want to see high quality orthoimagery and oblique imagery I spelled out some steps of how to access this in the county GIS viewer (maps.cuyahogacounty.us):- Cleveland: Downtown: nuCLEus
The NuCLEus signs are still up on the corners (at least across from the Q), the project isn't dead until those signs come down lol- Cleveland: Downtown: 55 Public Square Restoration
Dang, looks like they did a great job on the brickwork next door! Here's to having a fully occupied PS in the very near future!- Cleveland: Mayor Justin Bibb
I got tickets to this - we'll see where covid has us around then but for now I'll hopefully be there!- Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
Thought you did some photoshopping on this with the corners trying to make it look like a ripped photo for some weird reason, looked again, no, just a tree....- Cleveland: Historic Photos
Spent some time trying to dig up a blog I found about Key Tower and it's design elements (I couldn't find it for the life of me) - maybe folks know what I'm talking about? It was like an architecture student (maybe someone on here lol) talking about the design looking like glass at certain times of day, the lobby being kind of drab for what an impressive outside it has/afterthought, etc. etc. man, idk where it went. If anyone knows what I'm talking about please send it over haha Either way in the search I came across photos from Whitacre Rebar during their work on Society/Key: - 2022 Cuyahoga County Executive Election
