  1. Great photo! Going to be really exciting!!
  2. But how many cranes? :P But seriously- never having seen a real tall building (lumen was prob my first ground up build I've seen on the daily) go up here, what type of setup should we expect?

Just read through this entire thread, for anyone who wants additional background this is a great explaination.

I'd love to know the geographic breakdown of where these mailers went. I'd highly doubt his campaign mailed them to the areas most impacted by gun violence, and that would speak to his true intentions.
  5. Always embarrassed to walk people past here that are from out of town...and I've only lived here a small fraction of the time that it's been parking, can't imagine having to look at this for 20+ years...

Ha was just about to post this. Not a great look!
  7. I mean, technically it's a list?
  8. By chance were you at springfling? That's where I saw them last.
  9. Pgh is noticeably more lively but so much more scrunched together into the golden triangle. It's a blessing and curse to live on the lake! That's kind of what BP is (kind of has "retail") but also you have their food upstairs.
  10. Seriously. I wander around on lunch breaks and have tried my luck at going into the majority of downtown buildings - not many office buildings have public access and if they do security will give you strange looks until you head out. BP's area is nice and folks do use it but it seems to mostly be office staff hanging in there (and me with some crappy taco bell lol). What public access do folks envision? A walk through? Restaurants?
  11. Priorities...lol Joking, appreciate what you do!
  12. hmmm which rendering will it be...
  13. I went back for more lol
  14. couldn't help but ride it after work today, what an amazing asset!
  15. Most likely banking on another building going up next to it that'd block out any windows that they'd put in. Pretty standard on buildings around town. Edit: @Htsguy with the answer
  16. This is infuriating. But I don't want to derail the thread. I'm a pretty good city cyclist and there's still plenty of areas that are super sketchy- Lorain isn't terrible, but I also can't imagine a family/kids riding on it (or many E-W OC streets) which is something this track would provide. I hope this comes back into play at some point under a new administration. (I'll keep the rest of my bike/mayoral opinions to the appropriate side of the forums)

Bibb has literally stated that he'd bring in the big brains when necessary. I don't expect a mayor to come in and solve (or know) everything on their own, but rather build a cabinet of great, competent people that can go out and get things done. I don't look at Kelley or Kucinich's experience and think it gets them anywhere- as someone stated upthread, what exactly has Kelley done to earn my vote? Not push back on Jackson? Be reactive to Cleveland dot com articles? Let Ken Johnson run amuck for his entire tenure? I don't get this obsession with "experience".
  18. Not really. You need to get the roads right, cross Valley and then meander and find the trail. It's not a big deal for someone who lives here but it's definitely not friendly at the moment. Also there's no true connection to the zoo trail just yet. I guess I mean that there's some real momentum and traction within Metroparks and other powers that be. Seems like momentum is moving in OBCDC's favor big-time.
  19. Its pretty close to my place and even though it's not huge it's a great spot with some offshoot little trails. Rumor has it that metroparks are looking to connect their assets together through here 👀👀. Rumor at this point but I wouldn't doubt that they're working on stuff in the background.
  20. Last night from the bike
  21. They don't have the new NC harbor bridge rendering in there, fake news. This looks AMAZING!
  22. If the Lumen 2.0 works out it would help connect bustling Euclid to The Avenue/that area in general. Looking forward to increased foot traffic and amenities around there.
  23. You were on quite the tear this weekend, great shots all around, @NorthShore647!
