Those balconies are going to be awesome. Imagine drinking some wine looking down on the theaters. Man this is a great building! Any word if PHQ is still in on Act II? I'd assume they aren't having problems leasing this baby out.

Tiny airports rake in big cash after botched stimulus formula https://www.politico.com/news/2020/04/30/tiny-airports-stimulus-money-227357- Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
Duh statement- but even on a cloudy day it's stunning how it stands out in the skyline! What a difference from the US Bank style buildings with their black, brown, and anything but clear windows. More glass!- Urban Ohio Strava Group
Just getting caught up to things here- that's a pretty crazy jump @jmecklenborg lol How's the map look if you zoom in tight? I'd imagine you had a lapse with GPS in the watch. If you really want to go full CSI you can download your rides' GPX file and see what 'breadcrumbs' your device is leaving. It's in the backend but strava/your GPS essentially connects the dots when drawing the rides. An example I'm thinking of that's similar to yours is when I'm riding on a trail with heavy tree cover and just my GPS unit- the MPH is all over the place but it tries to normalize the data when you end the ride/upload things based on previous breadcrumbs. Sorry if you already know how it works, don't mean to come off like a stodgy professor or something lol Here's a look closeup at my ride from a bit ago:- Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
Really glad the city pushed to have storefronts in the bottom of that garage. They may be tiny but they'll add life to that side of the street and hopefully help end the pedestrian dropoff between PHQ and CSU.- Cleveland: MetroHealth Medical Center
Bike shots from a little bit ago:- Cleveland: University Circle: Uptown (UARD)
If people weren't terrified of the healthline you've got Aldi, Daves, Gallucci's, etc. right down the way, same with the bike lane down Euclid, granted it's not the most inviting lane but it's there.- Cleveland: University Circle: Uptown (UARD)
Per the architecture lol Then again, if they're going for a glorified dorm, they've got it. Reminds me of some of the newer builds at my Alma mater, similar concept too - individual bedrooms w/shared suites.- Cleveland: Ohio City: INTRO (Market Square / Harbor Bay Development)
Just rode my bike past, ya beat me to it! Lol.- Cleveland: East Side Neighborhood Development
I'm happy to see that CMHA is doing their due diligence to see why they got denied. I'd like to see Ben Carson and staff tour these facilities (or any in that general area) and come to the same conclusion....- Cleveland: Downtown: May Company Building

Oh man looks like we just missed a tour of the place: http://events.r20.constantcontact.com/register/event?oeidk=a07e8n2pn5e9669ca15&llr=ts4do4hab Edit: for those that don't want to click, it's from 2014 ?- Cleveland: Ohio City: INTRO (Market Square / Harbor Bay Development)
I ran to the market on lunch break today and it's nearly a flat slab now and very little left- I'd imagine by the end of this week it'll be entirely devoid of any plaza remnants. While they were loading up concrete and whatnot there was a drilling rig on the periphery on W25 across from the candle shop or so. They aren't messing around.- Brook Park / Walton Hills: Ford Plant Redevelopments

ha if you did, you probably would've been towed. Those tow truck drivers were relentless.- Cleveland: Downtown: Gateway District: Development and News
Will there be any outlet where we'll see interior photos again before they start work? I know when they were pushing for demo they had people on site prepping it for it's fate- I'm just wondering what the interior looks like after that/what they were doing.- Cleveland: Downtown: Gateway District: Development and News
@LlamaLawyer sounds like a good Q for Columbus folks, it seems every time I'm down there another building on Short North has a similar design going on....but after seeing the interior pics last year I'd say these particular buildings can barely hold up themselves letalone another building on top.- Cleveland: Downtown: Gateway District: Development and News
That's really effin cool. I'm hoping landmarks and planning don't hack this up too bad/Stark pulls through!- Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News

Rite Aid closed/vacated recently on E156 & Lakeshore fwiw.- Cleveland: Downtown: nuCLEus
Hmm...better than an empty lot but wow this project has shrunk over the years. BUT if it keeps a business here, and a large one at that, whatever. Like you said @KJP hopefully the parking deck pedestal could be a phase 2 of apts+. That side next to the q could definitely use some street activation. Speaking of- if the ATT Building ever gets converted this could really be a nifty part of downtown. Edit: thanks for the article, cheers! Edit 2: herold building, yes! I remember the pics from the landmarks commission? Last year, that building looks rough from the inside, but it's not like stark isn't to blame for a lot of the neglect, glad the demo permit got denied, really hoping this part of the project happens!- Cleveland: Downtown: nuCLEus
'About' as in tomorrow morning, or should I open another beer and wait lol- Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
My guess is the development that may or may not happen at the warehouses across the way. If the Haslam's have their way I could see this totally being worth it. Maybe haha. - Airline Industry News and Discussion
