Brecksville: Sherwin-Williams Research & Development Center
I sure hope powers that be are leveraging GIS to find a good site IN the city. It'd be a relatively simple analysis to locate something like this within the city (looking at utilities, land needs, safety, etc.), but only if they're given the proper information and data. I'd hate to see this end up in Brecksville.

I was in PGH when they were building PNC, I know they went for LEED, I think Gold? I wonder if SW would have any desire to go towards some level of LEED- does Ohio or the county offer tax breaks for this?

You're going to hate me for this but I got a vanilla and chocolate flan (...not both for me lol) but chocolate was amazing, my gf definitely approved of the vanilla haha. Also got some tarts, they didn't seem as impressive but still there were a ton of blueberries in them, definitely with giving another shot haha

I was definitely confused when I got it lol it was still tasty nonetheless.

Cleveland: Downtown: May Company Building
Idk if it's just holdover from the past or if they plan to relight the overhang but the makings for it are there behind the glass panels (those are florescent bulbs in the first pic).

I'll work on getting better photos, but here's the new Half Moon Bakery and some Argentinian styled empanadas

Cleveland: Downtown: Skyline 776 (City Club Apartments)
I've mentioned it before, but I used to do Airbnb at my place and showed some folks around town and one commented some of it looked like a cold war city. While that's harsh and a tad ridiculous, it does speak to our conservative nature of beige and browns, and until the lumen, limited glass a la Toronto and Chi. I think exciting cities have a mix of spots and styles and this is weird but in a good way. Much like the beacon it adds some flair to our awesome old architecture.

Great shots @MayDay! I can't believe how much has changed in a relatively short period of time. It seems like once momentum starts rolling, the progress spawns a massive positive change. Here's to another amazing 10 years for the city. Oh and PS- Cleveland doubters be damned!- Cleveland: Random Photos
Hung out around the industrial valley today. Here's a handful of photos from my walk. It was a tad hazy so not great for city shots, but I'll be back soon enough ?- Cleveland: Downtown: John Hartness Brown Buildings / Euclid Grand
It'll be awesome to see lights on in these windows! Going to poke around back one of these days to see how that's coming along.- Cleveland: Random Photos
The federal courthouse is definitely an underappreciated building imo, especially from an angle like this, great eye!- Orange Village: Pinecrest

My rough estimate is that the Green/Blue line stop is a hair above a quarter mile from the assumed entrance. I believe anything over a quarter mile and folks feel it's too far of a walk (sad, I know), but here's what I was able to come up with from georeferencing the rendering above. The purple are existing trolleys, orange - bus lines, and the lime green/blue line is the waterfront line. Additionally, the green dots are stops (current as of February last year so things may have changed some.) Also added another photo that's just imagery - these parking lots are barely used outside of browns games, it looks like the muni lot isn't even full as it is.- Cleveland: Midtown: Development and News
No idea (sorry), but it kind of reminds me of the an old state building in Buffalo (if anything, it shows how much is possible when stripped down to the bare bones), curious to see any renderings of this build. Before: After:- Greater Cleveland RTA News & Discussion
BTW, for those paying attention, this post helped clear up the parcel numbers (if you're paying attention it was incorrectly listed as 736-09-011). It now reflects proper ownership characteristics and whatnot. So, thanks UO for making me dig into this a little ?.- Greater Cleveland RTA News & Discussion
Sorry about the late response, and full disclosure, this isn't totally my area of expertise so don't quote me as bible, but everything I'm looking at shows 736-10-011 and 736-10-012 as owned by Shaker. So, although there may not be any ROW or easements currently present, it's not necessarily a done deal either. It'd be worth taking a dive into deeds and other legal documents to be absolutely sure though (for the bored, https://fiscalofficer.cuyahogacounty.us/en-us/recordeddocumentsservices.aspx)- Cleveland: MetroHealth Medical Center
You can't tell from the crappy gray canvas, but indeed it is a stair tower. The leaning tower of metro lol. It was a regular lens (not fisheye) so, it isn't distorted or anything from the photo standpoint. If anything, it could just be a bad angle when it comes to comparing to buildings in the background?- Cleveland: Tremont: Development and News

From today, if someone wants to photoshop beautiful blue skies, god speed lol Ps- I was parked in a no parking zone so wanted to make it snappy and didn't have the best vantage point. I'd recommend getting into one of the parking garages and getting a view down on the site, it seems the one looks right over it.- Cleveland: Tremont: Development and News

Isn't it more of the driver's fault? They're the ones pressing up against the train ahead of them... - Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
