If you're able to find a link I'd love to see it, assuming it isn't easily google-able

Here's a video that came up in my youtube recs, it has some solid downtown scenes in the beginning: I'm about halfway through, I'm sure there'll be other city shots. It's so sharp it looks almost fake.
  3. Well I'll be, ironically I started the post as east side/Collinwood-Euclid area instead of definitively calling it Collinwood, thanks for the heads up and correction!!
  4. Giving a quick look to everything (I'll take a deeper dive when I have more time) but it doesn't seem like there's an easement on the property- Van Aken was dedicated in this area in 2016 (v.386 pp. 19-20), and Tuttle was also dedicated on that same day (v.386 pp.21-22). Again, I'll look into things a bit more when time allows, but it doesn't seem like there's any type of easement on these parcels.
  5. They've had a spot in Collinwood for a while, the west side/Old Brooklyn location opened last week (or maybe the week before?) either way, the facade had been done for maybe a couple months at this point. I assume they had to do a decent amount of work on the inside, but it came out great!

  7. Irie is open in Old Brooklyn Edit: halfway through a bowl, I'm going back this weekend lol super tasty not to mention crazy affordable!
  8. Ironically the insulation/cladding matches the 'face wall'
  9. I'll see if I can dig anything up ?

Ironically, if Allegiant did this it would be one of their most convenient airports in terms of access to cities. I'd fly them more if they had slightly more convenient locations. Regardless, that's a really good point.
  11. I'm with @KJP on this one, however, the TeamNEO/Developer description of the Van Aken II site kind of scares me as far as expanding the Blue Line is concerned, I know it's all speculative and renderings at this point, but take it as you will: https://properties.zoomprospector.com/OhioNEO/property/3470-Warrensville-Center-Road-Shaker-Heights-Ohio/16E34903-E2A4-479A-8309-24B395356060

Funny you say that, I was in a meeting yesterday and just off the cuff we were discussing something like this - making BKL an airport specific to one airline - and SW came up with LUV field, as well as other cities that operate two airports. It kind of is unnecessary without being a hub but at the same time, it wouldn't be a terrible idea either (granted the cost of getting BKL to spec would probably be cost more than it's worth).
  13. That's pretty gross and unfortunate. Reminds me of NYC apartments that have separate entrances depending on market rate or rent controlled living. If this is the case, I'm out. @Larry1962 maybe overreaction on my part, but I assume the current fountain area would become off limits? It's just upsetting that the public wouldn't be welcome in such a publically designed space.
  14. Just getting caught up to this thread, but as a *millennial* (lol) downtown worker and Cleveland resident, I hate driving to the outskirts of town to go to the mall and for that reason have never really been to any area malls, east or west. It'd be awesome to take the train down to a substantial shopping presence and knock everything out versus shopping online. Also, with the steelyard comment above, I live near the development and it's awesome to have ( probably one of the best Aldi's fwiw). Lastly, a contiguous bike and pedestrian bridge/path connecting over the shoreway would be awesome, the marginals are fun to bike or run on but from 55th to 9th is a loooong ways for most folks.
  15. Public-Private sounds better than putting all our public dollar eggs in the block chain basket. Maybe we'll regret it in the long-term but idk I have faith that something good could come out of this, I'm always kind of embarrassed when I see airport rta folks get off and the current (and even recent) state is their first impression. The rendering that Vocon put forth needs tweaking but I think it could be a good start, maybe the big tech companies would provide seed money and VC to boost startups.
  16. Is Kerry M. on here? Check it out:
  17. Did the 'Big Announcement' that was teased last week come out yet, or no?
  18. no! they're collaborating and s y n e r g i z i n g
  19. Just read Naymik's piece on it and he did a great job of garnering a wider reaction, here it is: https://www.wkyc.com/amp/article/life/shopping/cleveland-considering-online-ordering-at-west-side-market/ As I said previously in this thread, the market manager is terrible and isn't respected by the vendors. I love the idea of a consierge service of sorts- the city needs to realize it isn't 1950 anymore and need to evolve with the times, which it sounds like Whitaker is trying to do.
  20. The (wo)man, the myth, the legend, @Terdolph? Or is it Lebron? It's probably Lebron.
  21. @ASPhotoman absolutely love the raindrop shot. Great shots all around!! If you don't mind me asking, what type of equipment were you using?
  22. Any idea why they'd be shoring up this building? Are there any hopes for development or is it just to protect pedestrians? Not sure if it has a name, it's across from Sumner Ave. (22145 E. 14th, after looking into it, it's a Frangos Group property).
