Hello All! Our second annual "Change for Change" fundraising event is scheduled for Saturday February 23rd. At this event, we will be auctioning off artist-created purses and wallets to raise money for this year's grantees. Are you or is someone you know artistically inclined? If so, I hope you'll consider (or consider letting that someone know about) making a piece for the auction! Our theme is "change for change," and we are seeking submissions of purses and wallets. Use your imagination! Pieces can be functional or not-so-functional. So far, we have a variety of pieces committed: photographs, blown glass and fabric, to name a few. The sky is the limit! If you or someone you know is interested in creating a piece, please let me know! There is plenty of room for a variety of pieces, and each one will help raise funds for our grantees this year. Email me at [email protected] with any questions or if you would like to commit to making a piece. Thank you for all of the great work you do making this such an incredible group! I'm looking forward to what will surely be a successful evening. Best, Jason [email protected]

Urbanohio is adversely affecting my life
Thanks for your kind words everyone - wasn't really expecting that. I know I'll be alright. You know how people will say something like, "here's to the next chapter in my life?" Well, here's to a whole new book. But let it be known I hate the year of the pig - bring on the year of the rat.

Urbanohio is adversely affecting my life
Just hit the 100 day mark - go me! What has that left me? Well, I'm unemployed and getting a divorce. But I'm much smarter and have made some fairly "decent" friends. At least I think I have. It all depends on who shows up at the funeral, right?

STICKY: What do you want to see???
Those look good. So does a person have to host the pic on their own? And what would the script look like to link it back to here?

STICKY: What do you want to see???
I've got another one. This one I thought of after seeing the link to Urban Ohio on the Avenue District website. Can someone with appropriate skills create badges of various sizes that can be placed on websites, blogs, etc? I know I would put one on mine. tanks

Join the UrbanOhio Flickr Photo Group
http://www.flickr.com/photos/muscatello/ I've been using Flickr way before Yahoo bought them. I love it. As far as customization: Firefox has tons of extension that can be utilized on Flickr. Additionally, if you are a Greasemonkey user, there are tons more. A few days ago I tried out the new photo editing option now built into Flickr. I used it to edit my avatar and I was happy with it.
