Cleveland: Dike 14
Nature did not take over completely. The Dike was seeded with many of the plants that thrive there now. I use to have pictures of the dike before there was any plant life on it, but cannot find them now. I agree, an abundance of the current plant life has grown due in part by birds, wind and so on, but it was not entirely Mother Nature taking back what rightly belongs to her.

Cleveland: Need help identifying building
It's the old B&O Railroad Terminal, now owned by Sherwin Williams for storage. It was supposed to be converted into a heritage center, but I have not heard anything about it for a long time. http://ech.case.edu/ech-cgi/article.pl?id=BOR http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&hs=WdS&q=%22B%26O+Railroad+Terminal%22+cleveland&btnG=Search

The Worst City Names
Who deleted my post? Loser's - as if nobody ever makes a smart ass comment on the board. Must have been somebody from detroit. (yup, that's right. I did not capitalize it on purpose.) Anyway, to stay on topic: Satan's Kingdom, Vermont

No. Earlier in the year I asked the mods to merge all of the West 117th Street threads. They did, but kept this title. Whatever.

Cleveland / Lakewood: The Edge Developments
The GE at Westown used to be a Topps. So it does not have all of the usual things in it one finds at a typical GE. (Dry Cleaning, Ready-to-eat foods, etc.) So if it is larger then the current location and adds a gas station and car wash, this might add an additional 50 people. Maybe the 200 includes the new restaurant.

Cleveland: Downtown: Convention Center Atrium & Expansion
Medical Mart developers narrowing down locations Posted by Sarah Hollander December 06, 2007 11:25AM The Chicago-based company that plans to build a medical mart in Cleveland ideally wants it located in the same building as a convention center, officials said Thursday. Merchandise Mart Properties officials also said at a news conference Thursday that they have narrowed the location options from about a dozen to a handful, but would not disclose what the sites are. Company officials said they are looking for a 7- to 10-acre site with 1,000 parking spaces. Also on the wish list is a permanent exhibit hall of 100,000 square feet and a conference facility of 100,000 square feet to work along with a 300,000-square-foot convention center exhibition hall... more at: http://www.cleveland.com/medicalmart/

The Great Ohio Beer Thread
My dad used to drink POC. He left us in the early 8o's, so this would make the time I recall seeing it as around the mid to late 70's. I know it was out of production, but somehow he was still drinking it then.
