  1. No. I know it is not Northeast Ohio, but I did not want to start an all new one. If there is a thread more appropriate, please move.

As of now, I think Jones is the only one who will retain his seat.
  3. Um, ok. Relax. I forgot you like to dish it out, but not receive. Consider it dropped.

I've accomplished my goal... not last place. Ah, but there's still time.
  9. Said the "apprentice" about the "masters."
  10. Drove by the the new El Jalapeños on West 117th Street Saturday night and took a peek inside. It was packed. They did a nice job redecorating and painting the outside, too.
  11. Technically, the Quadrangle is not a CDC but more of a Chamber of Commerce type organization for businesses in that area. Not entirely - but mostly.
  12. Cool - finally a light... dim, but a light none-the-less.

Why are you sounding like such an old fart? One day while driving with my two youngest ones in the car (10 and 8), I was flipping through radio stations seeing what was on other Opie and Anthony (not kid appropriate). I got to 98 and both kids are yelling "leave it there, leave it there!" Freebird was on. They knew it from GH. They don't even own it. They got it from playing with various friend' games. I grew up listening to mostly new wave, punk, underground and indie stuff - I hated anything that might have been labeled pop. I did not even know what Freebird was until way into my 30's. I gotta tell you, that game has changed the way kids grow and appreciate different genres of music. Mark my words, years from now there will be studies done correlating GH to whatever it is that needs correlating. I bought GH 3 for my kids this xmas. Rock On!

Unless there were a massive curb cut, I doubt there will ever be on street parking on Crocker.
  15. Something tells me that if Chagrin Falls allowed the soup truck to park on their square every night, homeless would eventually be camping in their gazebo. But they would never allow it. So why should we? All I'm saying is this issue needs addressed regionally (there's that word again), not locally. And by regionally, I do not mean everyone in he region agrees to send their homeless downtown. And by the way... I was homeless for almost a year while living in Vegas. Guess what. I got a job.
  16. Hmmm, how about Parma, Mentor, Bay Village, Beechwood, Strongsville, North Royalton, Pepper Pike, Chagrin Falls, Berea, North Olmsted... You get the picture? No? Here, this should help.

Doesn't Kohl's sell Vera Wang now... not that means anything.
  18. Apples to oranges, my friend... apples to oranges.

And about a year ago. Mitch Sneider (SP?) hinted he was talking with Kohl's... IIRC.
  23. At the time, the Waterfront Plan was promoted as a 50 year plan. Depending on what happens in regards to the West Shoreway and the Innerbelt reconstruction, it should not take that long. Part of the planning process concluded the new island would use the construction debris from the two freeways as fill. Additionally, all of the fill as a result from the Regional Sewer District work would be used, too.
