Yes - sorry. I can't even use the excuse that the "c" key is right next to the "s" key. I suck - I hate typing. Any way - good stuff.

That's close. I guess I was picturing a more defined image of the night lights. Not sure where to find something like that
  5. Where I sit in my office, I get to here almost everything said about Cleveland. Some good - mostly negative. I usually role my eyes, click my heels and think "Please leave, please leave, please leave." Sometimes it works. Anyway, I will have to write down some of the things for the future.

  8. Third Frontier program to help higher ed in Ohio Researchers, grants will be focus Wednesday, August 22, 2007 Mary Vanac Plain Dealer Reporter Columbus -- Ohio's Third Frontier technology development project agreed Tuesday to partner with the state higher education system on a $122 million program to recruit researchers and their federal grants. During a joint meeting with advisers in Columbus, the Third Frontier commissioners also parceled out $207.5 million to some existing programs and a few new ones for fiscal year 2008. And the commissioners added alternative energy -- wind, solar, waste-derived fuels, as well as energy-storage and -management technologies -- to their list of grant-making priorities. But what is required might leave out a whole bunch of good ideas (including mine :-D) from the regular folk. So if we put the idea out there, why can't somebody with more skills, money to by the fancy-schmancy programs you require and maybe time go ahead with that idea and attempt to produce something out of it?

  15. And by non-city employees. ;D There are some all around the convention center and public hall, but most are sealed and/or flooded. I recall a tunnel at the bottom of Superior Hill in the flats. I have a picture in my head of some sort of tunnel that went from the east bank under the river to the west bank. But it was not pedestrian.

I have an idea for a logo, but my skills are limited to photoshop only, and barely at that. So maybe somebody here might want to take a stab at it. I have been thinking for the longest time how cool it would be to use the image of Ohio at night ( see world at night photo below). All of the urban areas are lit up already. Then use the UO - I would suggest a different font: Eurostile, Eurostile extended, Optima, or maybe something retro like American Typewriter. Anyone want to try?
