Cleveland: InTown Place Apartments
Hmmm, its not your crappy computer. It's their crappy website. Everyone reading this thread is trying to get to there site and it is now not loading. Sort of like our version of the Digg effect.

There is also one planned for the Case area, although I don not recall at the moment if it has the same name. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I "stumbled" across a planning study of sorts that was done a year ago by City Architecture in conjunction with CSU. For those who have poor connection - I apologize for the following 19 images.

GOOGLE: All Day, All Night, All Nice
Time Mag:[ quote]Tuesday, Jun. 12, 2007 Google Maps: An Invasion of Privacy? By S. James Snyder Is that man breaking into an apartment building? Does that tollbooth operator realize she's being photographed? And isn't it illegal to have cameras in New York's Brooklyn Battery tunnel? Such questions have been raging online in recent weeks, as Google's new" Street View" has sent techies scrambling to browse through the miles and miles of street-level photos now available through Google Maps. But while such blogs as BoingBoing.net and Mashable.com have made something of a joke out of the many humorous (a man apparently caught mid-sneeze), bizarre (the ghost of E.T.?) and lewd (a woman's underwear poking out of her low-riding jeans) images captured by the web giant, privacy concerns have led many watchdog groups to quickly retort that Street View is no laughing matter...

Cleveland: InTown Place Apartments
Here I am! Still playing catch-up from the down time. Where did you try to download it from? I can try to do it. The building the thread is referring has nothing to do with CSU. And good luck to them with it - they art going to need it (see bottom photo) The other building (2020 Euclid) is likely part of College Town. For more information on that, go to: http://www.urbanohio.com/forum2/index.php?topic=13086.msg190311#msg190311 Got to keep things on topic, you know.

Cleveland: Cleveland State University: Development and News
It appears construction is starting on College Town. Work has begun on a building located at 2020 Euclid Avenue by Marous Brothers. The building was built 1910 and has a current market value of nearly $500K million. It is owned by Bedo, LCC, but I cannot find any information on who they are. I have a message to somebody I know for more information regarding the project. The one thing I do know is that college town is supposed to start construction this summer. This came from Paul Volpe. Further posting when more information is available, but for now: Rendering by City Architecture

(warning: long post) The following is from the local blog Save our Land regarding last Friday's CPC meeting. I've included the comments that followed because they were interesting:
-
Cleveland: Opportunity Corridor Boulevard
I would venture that is the biggest reason this is still being pursued. And don't forget - there are many, MANY, people behind the scenes who are pushing for an abandonment of the proposed innerbelt rebuilding in exchange of placing all funding toward this project.

Strip District proposed in flats???
Someone should consider reopening the old Aquilon (Lift, Whiskey, SmartBar, etc) That place would make an excellent adult club.

Cleveland: League Park
I think this a great need for one of the absolute worst areas in the city. This could help the neighborhood a lot. A hit for League Park Saturday, June 09, 2007 Susan Vinella Plain Dealer Reporter Cleveland plans to pump $5 million into the renovation of League Park, the historic ballpark in the Hough neighborhood where Babe Ruth hit his 500th home run. The renovation will cost $8.5 million, city officials said, and they hope to raise the rest of the money through private donations. The public money will come from the sale of bonds in 2008 and 2009 as part of Mayor Frank Jackson's five-year capital plan. It would pay to restore the ballfield with home plate in its original spot and a replica of the outfield wall. more at: http://blog.cleveland.com/metro/2007/06/city_pushes_league_park_renova.html
