I say sometime between Fall 2008 and the year 2012 when (according to the Mayans), a new cycle will begin.

^ It is the ramp that was a last minute proposal by ODOT that will utilize the road west of Ontario Pointe (which, by the way, has a new for sale sign post on it) as a staging area of sorts for a new ramp that will "fly-over" the land that is now employee parking for the Jacobs Filed. The major objection is the impact the new ramp will have on the Fireman's Museum as it will severely limit the amount of visiting traffic that can access the museum. They had no problems with the Innerbelt plans previously because there was no real impact on their business, But this new proposal has gotten them all riled up.
  5. Sorry for the delay. I wanted to make sure I had correct information regarding the restaurant from the pm and he had been out the past couple of days. Last week was moving day for the Administration Center. Floors 2 and 3 are occupied by the president, VP and their staff, plus some other university functions. The first floor is not complete yet, but will house human resources and the restaurant. The restaurant is at 80% design and will be located on the western portion of the Admin building. The mansion has been having many unexpected issues. The last one involved one of the contractors having to completely rip out all of the conduit for the fire alarm in the whole building because they put the wrong kind in. Right now the main contractor is saying the building should be ready by the end of May. It will hold functions like Purchasing, Auditing and Graduate functions, among a few other things. There is supposed to be some leasable space in there as well.

^ I drove by it this morning. I completely agree. The scale is way off. I would raise it at least ten more feet.
  9. A few things: First, last week during our Future of Urban Ohio meeting at A J Rocco's, I mentioned to KJP that I wished we had a better search function - an advanced search, if you will. Before I made a random request (like I did before regarding uploading pics directly from a cell phone), I did a search on the Simply Machine add-on page. Since I could not find anything after a brief search, I figured there was nothing, so I did not ask. Next, I was messing around with my profile and found I could add a script from Last.FM showing the last ten songs I listened to. I like all kinds of music and love to share new stuff with people, so I figured why not ( I also saw that it was being used by another forumer). Apparently, a few of you preferred not to see such over-sized tags. I have to apologize for missing the size limits on tags and I am more then happy to conform to that rule. This brings me to my next item. Just a little bit ago, I was looking through my profile and accidentally clicked on the "Look and Layout Preferences" link instead of the "Forum Profile Information" link (BTW, why am I not able to change anything on that portion of my profile anymore? Is there a number of times a day you can change your profile? Am I being punished? Just wondering.) Anyway, under the look and layout area, I noticed a bunch of things I don't recall seeing before. For example, these options: Notice the bolded items. I also noticed there was a choice in themes. YES! I hate this blue theme. I prefer something more high contrast - all black with white text. But that's just me and I have learned to accept things I would otherwise hate. So I changed my theme (in case you are wondering, there are three choices - Actually four, but two are the same) to the Babylon theme and looky there - an answer to my first item: a very nice gui for and advanced search. Hurray!! So now I have to ask - how long have these options been available? Was this why the site was down over the weekend for maintenance? And now for a legitimate request: Can we the option to change the colors on our theme, please? Thank you for your time and consideration.

Isn't the whole perspective in favor of the driver who is coming from Tremont on West 14th. Since that is a fairly straight road, it seems the driver/passenger would have plenty of time to observe the image the sculpture is supposed to reflect... unless they are going really, really fast. I haven't driven by there since last week, so I can only speak of what the artist has said in the past.

Nothing to do with the warranty, but for about half of us, it does mean a free ride on the "Carousel." Unless you run away."

But if you have a garage with alley access, there are no driveways to shovel. I haven't shoveled or cut grass since 1998. I do have a garage, but no alley.
