In December I celebrated the 15th anniversary of my 25th birthday. To this day I freak people out when I tell them how old I am and how many kids I have. I could easily pass for 27 - 30. edit: I spell like a five year old re-edited: I blame the weather
  3. Are those power lines or contrails? :-D
  4. Here you go:
  5. Just avoiding a major photoshop project I should be working on - but my third IPA is keeping me from being focused.
  6. You win. Tickets are in your mailbox. I went to the event at the Botanical Gardens last year. It was Ok. Free food!
  7. Thank you very much. I thought I was in the DaninDC doghouse for a minute there.
  8. in my mail today: And I will not be able to go.... dammit.
  9. ^This coming from a man with a Picture window in front of his tub. Noozer: My wife was in Scotland/Ireland/Wales last week. Was scheduled to come home Saturday night via ny/nj... finally came home today.
  10. Uh... yeah... I'm pretty new to all of this stuff... but I'm also pretty sure when somebody is trying to take your property by eminent domain, being hard headed and arrogant probably isn't the best approach. I look forward to the flats being a desireable destination again someday. People with an attitude like that shouldn't be any part of it. I'm confused about this part. I drove through the area on Friday and half of the Beach Club was already in blight heaven. My confusion on this still stands. Anybody want to clear this up for me? HELLO? Is this mic on?

Their website has been up for a few weeks now: http://www.lakeeriemonsters.com/home/
  12. Those are the actual finished street lights. They are mostly up around CSU too.
  13. Wow, they got a lot done since Friday when I was down there. The empty spot in the second picture is where the Beach Club used to be.... I'm confused about this part. I drove through the area on Friday and half of the Beach Club was already in blight heaven. My confusion on this still stands. Anybody want to clear this up for me?
  14. There are some neighborhood connector routes proposed. You can checkout the whole plan here: http://planning.city.cleveland.oh.us/cwp/bike/cbmp0207.pdf
  15. At what point in the process is the decision made whether or not Norwood can be used as an argument for the current landowners? My thinking, and I'm no legal expert, but Norwood dealt specifically with residential takings, so that case should not have any bearing on this one. Or am I completely looking at this the wrong way?
  16. Is the fact that many of the landowners had for years sought to have their land devalued in order to have their taxes lowered? I'm confused about this part. I drove through the area on Friday and half of the Beach Club was already in blight heaven.
  17. ^I'll help. Here are a couple from about two weeks ago.

  19. Not defending Mok, but how long was he here? 4 years - tops? I'm not sure we can place much blame on him yet (although the evidence against him is mounting). If this started happening at least 20 years ago, that takes us to Voinovich's administration. Has it really been just an oversite since then? Was there something fishy going on at the time and just became status quo since then? Where's Carl Monday?
  20. I used to make SO MUCH FREAKING MONEY on St. Pats day as a cab driver. Those were the days.
  21. Thankfully my mac can pick up the signal a little ways from door, so I don't have to sit around with THOSE losers.... just with a different bunch altogether. Seriously though - Why should we have to pay for access? I'm just a cheapskate and I do not recall for sure how things work at other airports, but isn't the trend to have access more readily available in other cities?
