  1. Missing Van Halen boys steal the show at induction Tuesday, March 13, 2007 John Soeder Pop Music Critic New York -- Would the virtuoso guitarist put his demons behind him? Could the lead singers bury the hatchet? And would the jilted bassist swallow his pride? Stay tuned for the latest episode of "As Van Halen Turns," aka the 22nd annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony. ...
  2. I miss the one in Playhouse Square.

It's on Huron. next to the Clevelander, across the street from Winking Lizard. That's a good day to do it too. There is nothing going on at the Q, so parking should not be a hassle.
  4. ^If somebody proposes a $15 million project, does it deserve its own thread?

Almost all of their images are around two years old (national security). The images of CSU still show the old Intramural Sports Dome.

I think you will find almost all of the opinions here are biased... luckly the bias is in your favor. Thanks for the updates.

That is cool. If I had the time to properly learn how to skin Cleveland's buildings, I would totally start doing working on a project for us. Google is having a competition for universities to create models of their campus. The winners get a trip to Googleplex.
  9. Impressive. Do you have a larger image, other images, or site plans?
  10. From the image shown, it looks nice. So the Charter One building is proposed to go across from the Dog Bone Park (or whatever it's called) and also across the street from Club Cleveland, right?
  11. Funny you should mention them. I don't think they will be doing any further work on Ashbury anytime soon. This was is in last weeks Garfield Maple Sun News: From their website: http://www.americonhomes.com/
  12. Great job. Now start photoshopping in all of the towers that have been proposed over the past 20 years. :-D
  13. I live almost a mile from I-90 near West Boulevard. With the right atmospheric conditions and usually around 2:30 AM or sometime after I hear sirens, semi trucks applying their jake brakes, and motorcyclist doing those crazy things they do. Do I qualify for a wall to block the ignorance oozing from the freeway?

Here are some responses to Kevin O'Brien article in todays PD. Did anybody here write one of these?
  15. Flash point Grandmaster and Furious Five's induction ushers hip-hop into Rock Hall, but does genre belong there? Sunday, March 11, 2007 John Soeder Plain Dealer Pop Music Critic Melle Mel and his crew first crossed paths with Grandmaster Flash during a break-dance contest at a New York City recreation center in the mid-1970s. "Flash could dance, but he wasn't as good as us," recalls Melle Mel, whose real name is Melvin Glover. ...

There are many great lines in it. I will have to re-watch again a few times before I start remembering them all. love that movie (owns it). did you know that no one in the movie actually ever smokes? I didn't catch that. I did notice the patch abuse though.
  17. I think the Aldi's is under construction now.

  21. Maybe it's time for West 117th Street to have it's own thread. Following up on the West 117th discussion:
  22. Hurray for buried utilities. Its about time the city started following its own laws.

New York Times: http://www.nytimes.com/2007/03/10/technology/10google.html?_r=1&hp&oref=slogin I know the Cleveland Clinic has its shuttle from Municipal Parking to the hospital during construction, but could you imagine how much more empty the freeways would be if UH, Progressive and CC did this. It would probably not look good for RTA though.
