ODOT Policy Discussion
So many different threads to post this in: ODOT research says bus, rapid transit dollars need to double to $1.8 billion to serve unmet needs The Ohio Department of Transportation has been criticized in recent years for not directing enough money to supporting Ohio's 61 transit systems and the 115 million bus and train rides they provide each year. Ohio ranks 41st among the states in the yearly amount it spends – 63 cents per person – on public transit. Now, in a new study that ODOT says is an "honest, transparent assessment of transit funding in Ohio," an ODOT-hired consultant has taken a detailed look at current spending – and what it would take to close a funding gap to meet public transit needs a decade from now. http://www.cleveland.com/metro/index.ssf/2014/12/odot_research_says_bus_rapid_t.html#incart_river

Cleveland Browns Discussion
Johnny Manziel named starter over Brian Hoyer for Cleveland Browns' game vs. Cincinnati Bengals The Johnny Manziel era in Cleveland Browns football is officially under way. Will it last longer than the tenure of other Browns No. 22 picks Brady Quinn and Brandon Weeden? Only time will tell. But coach Mike Pettine took the football out of hometown hero Brian Hoyer's hand today and placed it firmly into Johnny Football's, Northeast Ohio Media Group has confirmed. Fox's Jay Glazer was the first to report the news that Manziel will start. The former Heisman Trophy winner will start his first NFL game Sunday against the 8-4-1 Bengals at FirstEnergy Stadium, taking over a 7-6 Browns team that Hoyer guided to the brink of the playoffs. In the end, however, Hoyer -- with his job and the playoffs on the line --- lost three of his last four games, throwing one touchdown and eight interceptions in that span. http://www.cleveland.com/browns/index.ssf/2014/12/johnny_manziel_named_starter_o.html#incart_2box

Noticed last night the home located at 2133 West 20TH Street ( I think) has been torn down. Currently owned by 4400 Development LLC (Owen McBride - and has been part of the McBride family since at least 1997). Does not ring a bell and I don't recall seeing this on any previously scheduled meetings. Anyone else recall what might be happening here?- Cleveland Browns Discussion
I think it was a few weeks ago when all the teams were above .500 and that had never been done before. I imagine, especially if Baltimore wins tonight, that there has never been a Division with 3 teams, let alone all four, at 7-4 or better this late in the season. That's a total guess, BTW. As for winning that game the way we did, I'll take it. Too often we have been on the wrong end of coaching blunders and last second field goals. It is usually us that gift-wraps games. We did in no less than twice at the beginning of the year. We've probably lost to the Steelers like that more than 5 times over the past 10 years. It was great to see the other team's prevent defense getting picked apart on the way down to a winning FG Everyone in our division is currently over .600 with the Ravens in last place at 6-4 All the teams in the NFC South are under .400 with the Saints sitting on top at 4-6 Tonights game: Saints v Ravens Hope its not a blow out and the Saints can invoke something from within to make it happen for them (and us)- Cleveland Browns Discussion
That was in insane ending. I wonder how many Browns games have actually been won in the last 45 seconds (let alone 5) like that one. I heard this was the first time a Browns quarterback had consecutive 300+ yard games since Sipe. Please, please, please... to ALL of the Gods... do not let us suffer another Red Right 88- Weather
