The Huffington Post reports that high caliber celebrities are being sought after for roles in "Ghostbusters 3." Hollywood darling Emma Stone and comedy king Jonah Hill are rumored to be top choices for roles. http://www.clevescene.com/scene-and-heard/archives/2013/11/08/ghostbusters-3-to-begin-filming-in-cleveland-in-2014
  2. Sounds good to me. Has anyone considered looking at one of the locations featured for Cleveland Restaurant Week (for those of us who the most bang for our buck)? I realize it is likely too late to considerate now... I just thought of it.

  10. Yes, but not land. This usually refers to a public right-of-way. In this case, a street - or a "portion" of one. Specifically, West 20th

Oh boy - the shite is going down David Franklin Lied to Cleveland Heights Police the Night He Found Christina Gaston's Body Phone records provided to Scene by Christina Gaston’s family show definitively that former Cleveland Museum of Art Director David Franklin gave false information to Cleveland Heights police officers on April 29, 2013, when he allegedly discovered Gaston’s body at her apartment on Euclid Heights Boulevard in the very early morning. Franklin told police, and provided handwritten testimony in their report, that he’d received a text message from Christina Gaston at 8 p.m. the previous night (Saturday, April 27). According to Franklin, that text said: “depressed from work.” But Christina Gaston’s phone records show only one text on April 27. It was sent from Gaston’s phone at 6:06 p.m. to a number which Scene has confirmed is not David Franklin’s. What prodded Franklin to allegedly visit her apartment that night if that text was never sent? http://www.clevescene.com/scene-and-heard/archives/2013/10/31/david-franklin-lied-to-cleveland-heights-police-the-night-he-found-christina-gastons-body

  17. Parma City Council approves Parmatown Mall redevelopment agreement PARMA, Ohio – City Council on Monday unanimously approved an agreement with Phillips Edison & Co. for the redevelopment of Parmatown Mall into the Shoppes at Parma. The agreement requires Phillips Edison to make $56 million in improvements to the property by May 2017. In exchange, the company will be exempt from paying property taxes on this increased valuation for 30 years, with this money used to partially fund the project, a practice known as tax increment financing (TIF). http://www.cleveland.com/parma/index.ssf/2013/10/parma_city_council_approves_pa_1.html

It will be five lanes but a breakdown lane on each side of the bridge, per federal regulations. The current Inner Belt is eight lanes with no breakdown lanes. Wouldn't it have been cheaper to just build one large bridge? Probably, but they didn't have the money for both bridges at the outset. How wide is the new bridge compared to the current one? Do we really need two bridges? How wide is the new bridge compared to the current one? Do we really need two bridges? First rule in government spending:

  22. Sorry for not being clear. I didn't mean to imply it was GS. I am just wondering if the Board is behind it. Stranger things have happened.
  23. Perhaps, but I know he likes to poke at little ol' me. It's all cool.
