Cross-posted in "Cleveland: Random Developments" Port authority to build highway maintenance complex for ODOT EUCLID, Ohio -- The Cleveland-Cuyahoga County Port Authority will build a highway maintenance complex in Euclid for the Ohio Department of Transportation that will cost up to $5 million and will be sold to ODOT upon completion. The cooperation between the port authority and ODOT is the result of a state law, which took effect in September, that allows public agencies to engage in design-build projects, said Brent Leslie, the port authority's chief financial officer. "Clevelanders are such great people. It's that Midwest charm. And the restaurants are phenomenal." When she joined the downtown scene, she helped to swell what's shaping into a historic migration. Here are some questions I have been thinking about and could not find answers to on the website: Is the casino, like many across the country, strictly 21+ only? Or will there be some wiggle room for parents that bring there kids to show them the sites? Or will it be determined by the time of day? i believe most assumed 24/7 operation. If they do have closing hours, that could be a real pain with everyone leaving at the same time. I assumed that, too. But I haven't seen anything directly related to it (without having to actually go through what was voted on).
