How many screens, movies, shorts do each of these places use? That would help with the comparison.

Cleveland: Random Development and News
Exactly. I researched and found the true population of downtown because I kept on hearing 10,000 or 12,000. I was sad to learn we were not even at 8,000. I got a grand total of 9,471 Remove the prisoners/homeless and you get 6,817 Add about 400 for 668 Euclid avenue and you get to about 7,217 Remove the 800 or so Section 8 and you get 6,417 So there you have it. You can choose what number you like best, and what you think major retailers will care about. Im just kind of sick of Cleveland going around mentioning the 10,000 to 12,000 downtown population figure because its just not true and is misleading. CSU Students? If the census counts them, shouldn't have you?

If you mean "tabs," then maybe. If you mean one, than yes because that is all I have and I mainly use that instead of a media player to play my music from last.FM; if you mean "Does MTS need glasses for his tired old man eyes?" Then absolutely.

I guess i could have posted this in the Pet Peeves thread, or perhaps the weather one.... regardless, Big Brother in Euclid has been so very annoying lately. It's not like I don't just go to my phone to visit whatever site I want to visit. They can't stop that (for now). Its just more convenient on the puter. So long productivity.

I just spent the last 12 days there working: 10-12 hours, mostly on my feet. I am still beat up from that. It was soooooo busy. Can't wait to work there again next year.

Cuyahoga County: Corruption Probe
KJP: I sure wasn't expecting to feel all melancholy this afternoon. but after seeing my Great Uncle Jimmy's name in their and cousin Rosemary..... well. The "elders" in my immediate family have done an exceptional job keeping us youngsters away from all of that nonsense.

From what I've heard, the main issue regarding the lock as well as the delay in the one currently being erected had to do with power generated being "transported" over a parcel line (in this case the abutting parcel owned by the same family). I believe the state defines this as a utility and then a whole crazy set of regulations kick in. Sopko/Stampco needed to get around that hurtle first.

It is relatively small. Probably more like something one might see for residential use. I believe they use it more training then for producing any real power See here: http://www.urbanohio.com/forum2/index.php/topic,25952.msg586411.html#msg586411

The second phase of the Sopko/Stampco wind turbine installation began today. The second of the two turbines is currently being installed. Not nearly as tall as the LE tower, but still pretty massive.

Cleveland: Restaurant News & Info
My kids are always on my case for Pho when I don't feel like cooking. We were all super excited to see an asian noodle house proposed for Kamm's, but...... months later, no action in the space since the initial construction started.

Favorite Music At The Moment?
In the suburbs I I learned to drive And you told me we'd never survive Grab your mother's keys we're leavin' You always seemed so sure That one day we'd fight in In a suburban world your part of town gets minor So you're standin' on the opposite shore But by the time the first bombs fell We were already bored We were already, already bored Sometimes I can't believe it I'm movin' past the feeling Sometimes I can't believe it I'm movin' past the feeling again Kids wanna be so hard But in my dreams we're still screamin' and runnin' through the yard And all of the walls that they built in the seventies finally fall And all of the houses they build in the seventies finally fall Meant nothin' at all Meant nothin' at all It meant nothin Sometimes I can't believe it I'm movin' past the feeling Sometimes I can't believe it I'm movin' past the feeling and into the night So can you understand? Why I want a daughter while I'm still young I wanna hold her hand And show her some beauty Before this damage is done But if it's too much to ask, it's too much to ask Then send me a son Under the overpass In the parking lot we're still waiting It's already passed So move your feet from hot pavement and into the grass Cause it's already passed It's already, already passed! Sometimes I can't believe it I'm movin' past the feeling Sometimes I can't believe it I'm movin' past the feeling again I'm movin' past the feeling I'm movin' past the feeling In my dreams we're still screamin' We're still screamin' We're still screamin'
