I saw that, but there should be some mention of how it worked in City X. Of course, consider the source.
  11. Orchestra, musicians reach tentative agreement By Zachary Lewis, The Plain Dealer January 19, 2010, 8:09AM Chuck Crow, The Plain Dealer CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Cleveland Orchestra and its musicians union have reached a tentative agreement after all-night negotiations. Neither side of the discussions had issued an official statement on the matter, but a spokesman for the musicians said the parties had reached an accord early today and would meet to ratify the deal. In the meantime, the bulk of the orchestra's residency at Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind., has been postponed. During the night, it was announced that the orchestra's main stage concert there, scheduled to take place Wednesday night, and other planned activities had been postponed. There has been no "public" decision yet. Though I'm sure one has been made.

Is there precedence for this? Has anyone heard of another city doing something like this for such a large project? How did that turn out? Just wondering. Oh... and Hi
  14. http://clevelandplanner.blogspot.com/2010/01/goodbye-best-steak-and-gyro-1910-euclid.html It appears permits have been filed with the City of Cleveland to have the 1910 Euclid Avenue (formerly known as Best Steak and Gyro) demolished to create some sort of axis for Cleveland State University "in direct relation to Corlett Plaza (which was demoed recently as well). This area is not part of the CSU Campus or Master Plan, but is actually the west block of CollegeTown. According to the Master Plan, the demo of this building will allow for the construction of a new building, presumedly housing of some sorts, and have a direct connection, likely pedestrian related (see below), to the Wolstein Center. A date for demolition is not know at this time.

From Wikipedia: The music video for "Total Eclipse of the Heart" was directed by Russell Mulcahy. It was story-boarded by Jim Steinman and drew inspiration from the film Futureworld. The Gothic themed video features Bonnie Tyler clad all in white, apparently having a dream or fantasy about her students in a boys' boarding school. Young men are seen dancing and participating in various school activities such as swim team, fencing, football, and singing in a choir. The video was shot at Holloway Sanatorium.

Cool map showing how stimulus funds are being dispersed by county throughout the country. Cuyahoga County is getting more money the LA and Cook Counties. http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/files/specials/interactives/wdc/stimulus_counties/index.html?SITE=JRC
