I will listen to local radio occasionally just to get an idea of what kind of crap is being shoved down my kids friends throat (my kids know better), or just to hear the news. After talking with the staffers last night (who were celebrating at Bar Cento), this is a permanent thing for CIFF. They were very happy, to say the least.

As a follow up on the recent announcement regarding US Census Bureau mass hiring, Career Services Center has arranged for the Bureau to conduct an on-campus testing at Cleveland State University. The testing will take place on Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at 1:00 pm. This can only take place on condition that enough candidates reserve their seats no later than 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 12, 2008. Email us at [email protected] to reserve your place. The following will be required from candidate: • Age 18 years or older • Male candidates 18 to 26 be registered for selective Service • American Citizenship • One form of ID each from Sets I and II Set I: Drivers license or a picture ID Set II: Social Security Card or Birth Certificate Due to time constraints, confirmation and additional information will be sent to the reserved candidates on Monday December 15th.

To expand on this: the West Shoreway from the Clifton/Lake to the main avenue Bridge will be downgraded to a boulevard. The bridge would remain; however there has been talk about reconfiguring both ends of the bridge (West 25th and East 6th areas). In the long term, planners have proposed extending the boulevard from the Main Avenue Bridge to the current Dead Man's Curve area.
